Brilliant gag! Do you know what I love though? Because they named one of the duo “Hitler” it would’ve been so easy and tempting for them to lean on that for as many gags as they liked, but they didn’t! In fact jokes relating to the name are quite rare. It just shows how fantastic they were as writers. 👏🏻💯

I love every episode of Bottom. It's just so special but if I had to single out my personal favourite episodes it would be, Hole, S'Out, Burglary, Digger and Gas. Ade said Contest was his favourite in his biography. Love that one too.

Caviar is indeed fish eggs, but Eddie was messing with Richie stating it was fish poo instead. There is a difference in caviar, there is salmon and sturgeon caviar, the sturgeon caviar is brown like they had.

If a Patreon member requests it or someone makes a paid request for it then absolutely! But in the meantime there’s a lot of new content coming. “The pilots series” started last night on Patreon (with the first episode of “Line Of Duty”) where I’m going to watch the pilot episode of a bunch of different drama series and then after about a months worth of pilots, finally pick one or two to become an official series on my content roster. There there’s the poll competition from which we will end up with three new sitcoms to start too. We’re currently up to the semi final of that and “Keeping Up Appearances”, “The I.T Crowd” and “Blackadder” are all looking a sure thing to go through to the final along with “Red Dwarf” and a few others. I intend on starting 2024 very strongly. 💯

The Dangerous Brothers' "World of Danger" is also superb. That was their skit from the early days of The Comedy Store, "Richard Dangerous and Sir Adrian Dangerous". They went on to perfect it in Friday Live for Channel 4 in the 80s. Someone on KZbin "Darren Cousins" has put together a compilation of all their moments on screen. There's Ade being shot out of a cannon, a live crocodile and Ade even accidentally getting set on fire. They swear blind it happened but I think it was Rik & Ade winding everyone up. They had a real fire crew on stand-by and they rushed in to put him out and Channel 4 cut to commercial. It's never been repeated on TV since. Everything was performed live and went out in real-time. There was no 2-second delay back then.

With all due respect this is a reaction. My reaction. And I’ve always done my reactions properly. I’m not one of these stupid Americans who just sits there and laughs for 1 second at less than half the gags, doesn’t actually say anything about the quality of the humour because my dumb, limited American brain didn’t understand it or because I’ve actually already proof-watched the episode before recording the reaction because my fragile American ego can’t handle allowing me to look like I don’t understand the jokes to my audience and then ends the video by asking people to support a reactor who doesn’t even ‘react’ properly to the content they’re watching. If you want that, go and watch DTN Comedy. You definitely need to learn to appreciate proper and genuine reactions and reactors when you see them because there’s not many of us left.
