The 'heart to heart between war comrades' parody around 21.12 is even more genius than we first think. When you watch again, you notice that Ritchie and Eddie even hold on to the frame of the Ferris Wheel carriage in such a way, that the bars resemble their guns. As if they're in the middle of the Vietnamese rainforest, guns cocked and ready to fire at a moment's notice 😂 On another note: For years, whenever someone has told me that they're struggling with something in their lives, I simply reply to them, "You've got to dream Eddie, you've got to hold on to the Dreeeam!" 😂 Sometimes they get it, often they don't 😂

You definitely need to react to the live shows and the Bottom movie, Guest House Paradiso. Also, the series they did in between Young Ones and Bottom called Filthy, Rich and Catflap. All absolutely hilarious. There’s also a brilliantly funny DVD of some of their earlier skits as The Dangerous Brothers. Were they clearly set the stage for what followed

Following you new found Rik Mayall journey - as you already know there are plenty of other series to go through and a few films too. So glad you are enjoying the shows, I was brought up watching all these and great to see someone new appriciate them. Rik and Ade were just so good. The audio at the end is a snippet from the audio of the crowd after the recording. They used to have a "Warm Up" comedian entertain the crowd before filming. Rik and Ade used to have a mess about with the crowd before, during and after filming the episodes. When you see the LIVE shows you will get it. There are a lot of outtakes and behind the scenes videos on YT - They are fun to watch after you finish the series but try not to see the LIVE best bits it will spoil it for you. Can't wait for your next video of Young ones too.

I watched his film Drop Dead fred cos I was bored one day. The next day I got home after work at 8pm only to the news that Rik had passed away. I just could not get my head round it. Then two months later Robin Williams passed away. Both has such energy!
