Highlights as USA's David Boudia win's Gold in the Men's Diving 10m Platform final, with China's Bo Qiu in Silver and Great Britain's Tom Daley in Bronze during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Diving was included in the Olympic Games for the first time at the 1904 Games in St Louis. The springboard and platform events have been included since the 1908 Olympic Games in London. Since the Stockholm Games in 1912, women have taken part in the diving events. The diving programme has been relatively stable since the 1928 Games in Amsterdam: men and women take part in 10-metre high-dive and 3-metre springboard events. In 2000, the Sydney Games witnessed the entrance of synchronised diving on both the springboard and the platform.

Everything worked out perfectly. Hometown hero Daley got his medal, Qiu was virtually perfect (over a 100 on the final dive!) and Boudia accomplished the impossible (102 on the last dive to squeak through for the gold.)

Yeah he may be disappointed that he got silver but at the end of the day anyone could have won that gold Tom could of done it he was in the lead all the way up to his last dive and look how happy he was with bronze. The person who got silver really needs an attitude like Tom he has an Olympic medal not many people can say that love you Tom well worthy of your bronze now go out there and do everything to win gold on rio we all know you can do it xxxxx

The Chinese are perfectionists... they train to win gold. There have been many upsets in the Olympics, such as the Russian woman's gymnastics team not being satisfied with silver throughout the games. The Chinese are the same, silver and bronze is the worst thing in the world for them.

tdubb3 A total ripoff. Even Boudia knows he is not in the same league with Bo. The biggest ripoff in diving history. I notice that the 2 biggest Ytube video have comments disabled because EVERYONE except the Americans think Bo should have won. It's a shame that the greatest diver since Greg lost to a far less talented diver because of MONTROUSLY loud noises when Bo dived and the overwhelmingly biased Brit and American audience and judges. What a shame. BUT...Boudia has never beaten Bo except in that most important meet. And Bo has now tied winning THREE consecutive World C. titles. NO one else has done it. So that shows Boudia is no where near Bo. He wins because of bias. Boudia is no doubt a huge talent, but he has never beaten Bo except in the Olympics. He was never even close. That speaks volumes. And, BTW, I'm American. And I'm no idiot.

Vette gaddia Thats not what the scoreboard says bud. no one else's opinion matters except for the judges. David didn't crack under pressure unlike bo. he won this even because he was better.

zmz miller Boudia beat Bo by a mere 1.8 points even with Bo's mistake. That could have been made up if the biase judges were not so obvious biased by overscoring most of Boudia's scores and underscoring Bo's. Plus Boudia qualified in the 18th(last) spot. Boudia hasn't beaten Bo once since the Olympics. Neither has Daley. Bo is a three time 10m World Champion. The announcer said in the TV broadcast of 8/2/2015 that Bo is the best diver in the World. And it wasn't a small win either, Bo won by almost 30 points over Boudia, and 50 points over Daley. BTW, the only other diving who has won 3 World Championships in a row was Greg Louganis.
