Great inverter ! BougeRV is well known in the RV industry. they have a great line of products related to solar and offgrid. In a RV you would connect the frame to that ground. I have found doing many RV installs that 2 AWG wire needed to battery with a class T fuse or good DC rated breaker. Having a good inverter extra on hand is very good to have .The Power Grid in the USA is old and failing . Grid down is more common now. Keep up the great video's

Thanks for the tip on connecting the frame to the ground. You are correct on the grid, it really needs to be upgraded

@@FarpointFarms I have been a electrician 30+ years and see the problems with the grid over time. Lots of customers wanting backup systems now more than any time before

Good morning Eric! Living the channel. We may be neighbors soon…well North Carolina is 45k square miles so we may not be neighbors per se, but maybe we can chat now & then. keep the vids coming. ✌🏼

Welcome! Coast? Mountains?

@@FarpointFarms wife wants coast, i want mountains. I think she will change her mind after all our friends have gone through down Holden beach. Don’t want to drive an hour to get groceries or go to the hardware store, but don’t want to live in a place that my neighbor can watch me cut my grass from his window.

3% harmonic output is good. You want a low harmonic output to keep everything other than 60 Hz out of your connected equipment.

Hey Eric. Not sure how to let you know otherwise, your midnight Cafe stream is out again the last few days.

Hey Eric, I’ve seen you use the old radio shack 3amp power supply for a while so I decided to purchase one for myself. It has held up great! I was wondering though, can I use the posts and the socket at the same time? Or is it one or the other? Found your KZbin channel a while back and you got me into CB and Ham. I have an old Drake 2-B receiver that I restored and have a Cobra 29 WX NW ST that I use regularly. Built my own antenna and pretty into the hobby now. Joined my local Ham club too! Thanks for the videos and all you do!

I am not sure if you can use both- I would hate to tell you wrong and you see "magic" smoke.Thank you for your support of the channel

@@FarpointFarms Gave it a try 😂 I didn’t have much to loose. Picked it up for cheap. Seems like there’s not enough amps for 2 radios to be connected and used at once. Thanks for the feedback!

Good for Cabins in Finland, will be setting Solar network for my cabin, has mains power, but can be offline a lot during Winter, too much snow on the line. 56CT004

This would be perfect for a setup like that. We are having a major storm this weekend and I expect to be on 100% solar for the duration.

@@FarpointFarms Take care, hang in there during the storm
