The red jacket is something that was given to cruisers visiting the Antarctic on rather expensive cruises. They’re wonderfully warm and I wear my mum’s old one which is small men’s size but is toasty to wear in bad weather. It also washes amazingly well. Think about keeping it for bad weather flea markets and outdoor stuff. Great unit for $5

When I went to Antarctica it was on a former research vessel. We had to supply our own. But I do recall large groups at the airport and on the pier boarding the large fancy cruise ships. Those jackets are not cheap. Mine was close to $300 retail although mine was considerably less off eBay.

That Orvis coat is one that Antarctic cruises issue to passengers. Expedition-proof, very warm and tough. A rare find.

The jacket from Antarctica is worth about a 150 bucks so actually you may quite woman in the orivs Sweater can run from 60 to a $120 depending on what size so congratulations

It's smart to put your pens in a plastic bag, especially since they are in a tote with clothes. If the pens leaked it wouldn't ruin the clothes.

Storage auctions are great if you find enough decent items to cover the costs of the lockers (some locker auctions run into the $100s & beyond) and if you have the time and energy to dump whatever garbage the former locker renters have left behind, then, go for it. Some of the KZbinrs who do locker auctions, have to pay to dump their locker discards. Guess that depends on the states they live in? It's a lot of hard work. Years ago, I did a few flea markets, in the beginning, it was fun, but some buyers are absolutely ridiculous, many were trying to get brand new items for practically nothing. One guy offered me $1 for two working stereo speakers! I watch a few YT storage locker Sellers, the time and effort these people put into emptying out the lockers, researching the price ranges they can re-sell the items for, then, hopefully selling the good items they find, basically, there's a LOT of time & money involved. This is definitely a full time job. Some of these YT Sellers have to hope they will break even. Unless the Sellers make a very decent profit, sadly, sometimes it's *a lot* of hard work for little reward. GOOD LUCK with your endeavors!

Don't forget the cool Van umbrella in addition to the Kraken t shirt - Kraken is a norse sea creature and also NHL expansion team (32nd team of the NHL) in addition to a rum mascot? All the socks look great also! I am sure the mirror can sell for a little bit also and the orange jacket should sell well also with winter coming in addition to the stetson type hat.

Sometimes the 2nd story units can be filled to the top with stuff and many people pass on bidding on them because of having to move everything up/down the stairs. Would be neat if they had a little conveyer belt kind of contraption to add to the stairs to just move the boxes down!

Remember the most needed articles of clothes always needed in men's shelters are men's socks and underwear and for the women's shelters the same plus feminine products and baby/child clothes so just throw the ones you don't want into a bag and when it's full just donate it to a local shelter especially with a very cold winter coming on this year. glad you found a storage unit. there is value in some of the clothes, they look clean. i wonder if you can get hired to clear out units that have no bids as well. sometimes they pay good money for the cleanouts. you really could use a truck or van if you get serious otherwise you need to stick to the real small units like this one.
