BOUGHT MY FIRST 1000CC SUPERBIKE | Yamaha YZF R1 | Motovlog Singapore | NeedForRide

I have been wanting to buy a 1000cc motorcycle for quite awhile and now I finally got it. This is a 2014 Yamaha YZF R1, the last undertail exhaust R1 which Yamaha ever made. Love every aspect of this R1, especially the DRL Headlight and Sexy Taillight.

Graves Yamaha sells an inexpensive clutch mod- some washers and gasket- to fix the shuddering clutch at take off. If you have any trouble getting it , I would be willing to get it for you here in the US and ship it off to you in Singapore.

Need to full carbon it. But dam, coe so high, you 舍得 buy. 😂 congrates If your clutch no issue, can try accossato clutch. The pull become very soft. Holding clutch for long period of time on my cbr, was a nightmare

How is the tail tidy during wet weather? Does it fling alot of dirt up your back? Nice R1 btw!

The tail tidy is great.. It has minimum flings partially because of the under tail exhaust setup too. The tail tidy on the R6 will messed up the pillion seat when you are riding on wet roads.. R1 is still managable.. 😁

at 8:15 the ground is different than compared to 10:00 there seem to be a leak. or did u pour water?

It's coolant overflown when the engine is super hot.. The issue fixed by replacing the radiator cap. 😁

Just wrap the bike don’t paint it. It will be far cheaper and much more durable. That way when you are done with it you can simply remove the vinyl wrap and reveal the stock paint. It will yield a higher re sale.

True. But wraps couldn't last long. Certain corners/edges tend to lift up after 1 - 2 years time.. The gold chrome wheels on the R6 are wrapped, some of areas have lifted off. 😊

Hi 👋 Last time I used to ride Yamaha R15, the engine sound is still acceptable. KTM bikes definitely sound alot louder. I'm not sure about other bikes because I've never ridden them before.. 😅 What type of bikes are you looking for? Sport? Street? Scooter?
