By packing a track in advance the Snowdog had no trouble pulling heavy boulders to our new guest cabin building site.

Don't let anyone tell you that you're working to hard. If I had known better than that I might have been healthier and lived longer. I was once like you and the doctors told me to slow down for my health. Hmm, they were wrong on that one. I did slow down and now I struggle to walk 200 feet at age 64. I love your videos Martin. I wish that I'd found you before the Quacks, lol. You keep me going on days that I want to give up. Thank you for that.

Watch out for those quacks. They're doing a number on me now and I'm only 57! Or maybe it's crazy insurance company rules. Wasted 3 months at a hospital that in the end passed me on to someone else because my issues were more than they could handle.

Watching two stubborn grey-haired oldtimers crawling on their hands and knees in the snow, struggling with boulders of that size gives me hope for my own future! Maybe one doesn't have to end up in the sofa under a blanket just because the life clock keeps ticking away.... Thank you for sharing such motivational moments with us! And keep struggling!

Thanks for another visit at the cabin. You two fellas sure show a younger generation what hard work is. The reward is the break you get when you can sit back, relax and enjoy the entire surroundings of those woods while at that GREAT cabin. Be sure when you guys are back in the evenings at the cabin and tuning in to that distant old country radio station, to remind the younger viewers that once upon a time there was some 'real' GREAT Country music to further enhance the experience of being there along with those World Famous Cherry Pies.

It truly amazes me how I can be the GREATEST, NFL, quarterback EVER - on "Monday Morning"! I was yelling at the screen (4:00 min mark - when you were trying to load the first rock) to put the wheel barrow on the other side, in the hole the rock left behind. Also around the 7:30 mark - to unload the rocks at the approximate cabin corners rather than bunched together. As you already know the snow makes this job much easier , hence the move in the winter. I am guessing it (did) cross your mind though the snow may have been too deep for the dog to perform this task at this time.. again, may I remind you that in the NFL statistical columns I am an undefeated "Monday Morning QB"!!! Ha Ha Ha :))

Martin tell Jim to be careful with his knee replacements I know from experience they don’t work as good as the originals. The two of you are amazing working together. Both of you take care and god bless you both. I always look forward to a new video.

Will do, a bigger concern was the bones that are still working in his hands and wrists-Agent Orange

If Agent Orange might be a factor for Jim, that suggests he may have had a tour in Viet Nam. A salute and a "thank you" for his service is in order in addition to making it back and for the hard work both of you are doing.

I guess whoud be much better to make new sled from steal, get chain in the back of the sled so you can easily pull something, and make some room for driving. Just suggestions though, good spirits btw👍

Is that a snowmobile without skis? Use a strap cable wrapped around those 200 lb rocks to drag them lose with the snow dog. Won't slip as much as a chain. Wrap a strap around the bucket and rock, then roll them over together. Rock will stay in the bucket. Dangerous work here. Rock roll onto your lower leg could snap that leg bone like a twig or break a bone in the foot. These look like 250 lb or more. Careful! Some Monday morning quarterbacking here. We men tend to bull into a project too quickly at times without considering safety first or the best way with available tools. If none available, get them. The project can wait.

The Snowdog did great but busting loose frozen items would be hard on its joints so I offered mine up instead. I think our rocks were 400 to 850 pounds.
