I consider Tzeentch to be the scariest of all four Chaos Gods Khorne is straight forward, he's paralytic sociopath who will stab you in the face until it stops resembling a face. Nurgle would cause great pain to later relieve it and supposedly feel in peace and joy Slaneesh is that build up of little pleasures in life until all you want is nothing but those quick pleasures. Tzeentch is straight up Lovecraft horror, besides the fact he's probably based on that. Slowly sending an individual into madness like in this episode. Making you walk on the fine line between reality and what one might think is reality to then push you falling into madness.

To be fair I think you can make that argument for all of the chaos gods in their own right, while Nurgle is jolly and “merciful”, to an outsider, seeing a massive out ridden being with a jolly smile walking towards you slowly but surely is almost mind breaking. Slaanesh is subtle but horrifying in the sense that if you do succumb to slaanesh, your could become some grotesque living web of neurons that feel only pain which ain’t really that great in hindsite. Khorne….. honestly khornes khornes, scary to get killed but, unlike the others, only thing I can see scary is a big literal Demon looking being running towards you

A Tzeentch invasion would be the most terrifying. It's everything the other 3 can bring but just that level more of psychotic "effects"... You defend your house for 10 days and then all of a sudden it just starts over... and over... and over... and then you realize and it just doesn't stop. And then you die and the loop stops... Oh no it didn't, your in the warp now... the same loop? Oh no your at home again... That's good.. and then the invasion starts again.. All while your wife looks like a bird all of sudden.

I personally love this episode most of all of them because of just how well it is written. It shows the sheer drudgery of imperial citizen life, shows where vast majority of us would be without choice. The speakers keep booming rules, rules that Neith keeps breaking one by one. We get to see the pervidious, subtle nature of chaos corruption that happens on a daily basis in Imperial Worlds. It shows just how uninmaginably close this corrption and damnation of the warp really is and why these rules are in place, Arbites bashes a criminals head too much - suddenly khorne, one man, a worker whining too much about food ration - suddenly nurgle, bang your wife too eagerly in the bed - Slaanesh time, and read a single book when told not to, suddenly tzeenches bookcover. The constant, yet founded in more than a fair share of doomed planet examples paranoia is it's own dimention of horror, you live in a habblock and one of your neighbors has more food rations and he organized a charity, and you cannot know if his charity is an act of decency or the start of a chaos cult. Your life-long friend in administratum suddenly started doing math faster cause he found a better way of doing math, should you report him for heresy, or is it just genuine craftiness. The beautiful girl you wanna ask out to date keeps on hiding her left hand in a glove... Is she hiding a scar or mutation or a chaos mark? Shows why Imperium is such an oppresive system, both physially and mentally and for a good reason. And it also shows the fundamental flaw of the Imperium way of life, how simply this system can be hacked and sway a planet with such simple actions. This is the horror of chaos humanity faces most commonly in 40k, not in tyrranic invasions, chaos attacks drukhari raids or necron awakening, no, this is the threat we would most likely meet if we were the 90% of humanity in this setting. The irony is that most ppl in the imperium don't even know about chaos and how it works, don't know about xenos, cause why bother educate them if their whole life will be moving boxes from point A to point B. It's a blessing cause if they don't know they won't contemplate it, but at the same time, not knowing about sth means you can't recognise it when it's already here.

12:20 I usually dont pay attention to your face in the corner while watching the video of the video but for like 10-20 seconds you had your hand posed how the chaos inflicted prefect does the same thing you've been doing and then moved your hand off your face and laughed so hard milk came out my nose lol 😂 love your content I don't have the money to get a subscription for warhwmmer +/warhammer tv or whatever they call it so your videos are how I'm able to watch parts of the videos and you do the best job out of anyone then showing parts of the video as well as explaining everything going on. I commented the other day on your watch/explanation of "The Enemy Without" ( I believe that's the name of the animation I may be a bit off on the name, but it was the crimson fist/black templar/space wolf deathwatch fighting necrons) I remember saying you explained the necrons in fine detail in the shortest amount of time I've ever heard them explained in depth; ( I do know the lore of all the armies, and and a lot of the stories, because I've been into both warhammer 40k and warhammer fantasy since I was 10 years old.. My mom refused to get me either the empire vs orcs starter set or the space marines vs the tyranids, battle for macragge starter set.. id still visit the shop to just to watch games in progress ( I would always ask if they didn't mind me watching ) one day I went to visit a cousin I grew up with from when I was like 1-2 years old my mom met my aunt and my cousin half way which was 2 hours so 4 hours away total.. My aunt said since we missed some of your birthdays I want to get you something your limit is $300.. I got both starter sets and my mom was not happy at first but she came to the conclusion it's a better addiction than a drug addiction or smoking cigarettes and math is involved besides so eventually she would help me get a unit for my tyranids once a week! I traded the empire side from the starter set for the orc side of the starter set as one person said one day I'd love to get the starter set but I don't need the orc half I had the empire half still on sprees and told him if he gets the starter set id give him my empire half bc I didn't want an empire army for the orc half and he left happy and I got extra orcs for my fantasy army.. the space marines from the battle of macragge starter to one of my cousins whose the same age as me and his parents said it was to expensive so I gave the space marine section to him along with chaos type cosmetics and green stuff and he turned them all into chaos marines and the his parents were like well if it keeps them from becoming addicted to far worse things.. My armies I had were; Fantasy: Night goblin army/or just goblin army but I always usually used green stuff to make all my goblins night goblins I made sure to tell my opponent that normal goblin units all have different eye color/are a different shades of green and the more obvious makes a mark on the banners each time one of the non-night goblin units survived a battle that was a victory they add a white line.. each time they lose but survive they get half a white line. BUT if the unit is destroyed I repaint the banner with one white line (gobbos gotta pregame! They made it to the waaaaaaagh: thats good right?) LOL back to armies; Fantasy :Orcs and Goblins/Night Goblin and sometimes Night Goblin/Goblin, Lizardmen, Dark Elves. 40k: Tyranids, Space Orcs( had a garngutuan squiggoth and the smaller one both from forgeworld and they could be used in fantasy as well as 40k just no crazy gun batteries in fantasy lol), Imperial guard smallest army only about 800 points, Alpha Legion(Chaos) anothet smaller army 1500 points, and I'm pretty sure that leaves last but not least! Drukhari! Their my newest army I wish they would add them to Tacticus already..
