its worth noting that luck is an actual thing in 40k. its not clear if its connected to the warp or not, but it definitely nerfs or boosts your stats depending on if its bad or good.

One of the things I hate about fantasy viking like people is that despite living in a frozen tundra, they all seem to forget to cover the upper portions of the body. I dont know if that's part of the trails that aspirants have to fight bear chested, but if not, then I imagine most aspirants would die of exposure long before they found a monster.

The Space Wolves are among my top favorite chapters. They are honorable, they can see value in normal humans if they're brave enough and they tore the Grey Knights a new one.

Something I haven't seen pointed out in any review on this ep is the age of the Neophytes. You can see that they haven't gotten the Black Carapace YET.... even tho they are already enhanced these boys are less than 16 years old.

Considering how in depth and well put your analysis on the warhammer universe is I do have a question about the space wolves as a whole. If their world does get destroyed by Magnus what are their options to continue their recruitment?

Primaris Marines gave them a new lease on life and successor chapters. That wasn’t true before. They just as easily could become a fleet based chapter and recruit on worlds they wage war on. Some chapters already do this. Also there are a lot of Death worlds in the imperium, they could pick a new one. Valhalla would be a good candidate as they already have a hardy population used to the cold and bitter warfare.

I don't know how you feel about remastering these videos but it really is cool to see the effort and reflection upon your past work. The pervious versions were good I think, the current versions you're releasing are great! Good lore breakdowns that really pick up on the details we miss. Also the beginner lore is crucial for some people with how expansive the universe is. HUGE props to you for your commitment and your passion for Warhammer. I'll always support you as a creator because you seem to love what you do here, also it is cool to hear your thoughts and opinions as well! I do like a good tangent here and there. :)

These challenges are stupid when you think about it, a strong and a cunning potential space marines died because they did not have luck yet full fledged space marines die like flies when facing the tau, tyranids, chaos demons, chaos marines, eldari, orks and the necrons... there's nothing this trials do that increases a chance of them surviving in actual combat against other factions, they are just limiting the stock of good men needed in the war machine...

The continent it is on doesn't experience on the same upheaval the rest of the planet does, so the ground is stable. Fun fact, it was stable enough for there to be caves that the first colonist to the planet built cities in (rather than live on the unstable ocean or the deadly surface) but something happened down there that killed/corrupted everyone so they were abandoned and it is now forbidden to go there.

Basically a combination of forced evolutionary virus and Tzeentchian shenanigans messed with the original settlers in the cave system. Part of the reason why there was a Tzeentch helmet in the water scene with the wolf in the foreground. The lore is super deep on this one.
