I'm a recovering addict, and now I am trying to recover from people pleasing and conflict avoidance. It was bad when I used, but it's a doozy when I can't run away from it. I've had to practice not feeling responsible for other people's emotions.

Would you speak a bit to option #4 when it comes to former friends: those who you try to make amends to or reconnect with and they dont want to even though you are sober? This is a hard one for me to accept, especially with someone who meant a lot to me and my behavior really hurt my view of myself. Thank you love. For being you and all of the things you contribute to the world as well.

Hi! I’m not sure I understand your question … about how to differentiate between who to move towards & who to move away from? Feel free to email me @ cole@colechanceyoga.com!
