I can relate, as I used to do the same in my teens and 20s. I'd let things that pissed me off build and build without saying a word, sometimes for months at a time. Then there would be a "straw that broke the camel's back" moment and I'd explode. Of course it was usually something small that finally set me off, so from the outside I looked like the asshole that flipped out over nothing. 😅

Daniel is not only involved but instigates most all of the time. Like the time he accused Freddy Deeb of taking money off the table, and five minutes later acted like he had nothing to do with why Freddy successfully defended himself against Daniel’s attack. Daniel’s has always been a piece of $hit. Also, If you disagree with Daniel. Daniel will always try to rally others to attack you as well. As he has done this with Mike Matisow, Freddy Deeb, Phill Helmouth, Doug Polk, and too many to actually list all of them. I can only imagine how many times Daniel’s poor wife has had to listen to his narcissistic speeches.

I am very surprised that Daniel lowered himself to Deeb's level. As a Canadian I have watched his career from the beginning and have always been proud of his accomplishments and his general demeanor compared to some of the leading players in the poker world. Prior to this KZbin video I had never heard of Shaun Deeb in all the years I have watched high level poker tournaments. Zip, NADA,, Zero. All of the big players like Hellmuth and Ivey and many other notables were present but no Deeb. Clearly he is obviously one of the leading poker players. When you get ranked second in a specific year for cash games that's no small feat. It' doesn't surprise me that Negreanu came third. But the ugliness of this argument started with Deeb and continued throughout. I am not surprised Negreanu responded because Deeb called Negreanu's wife a whore. Who says that kind of shit? Only a low-life. Negreanu don't take the bait you are much better than that. Leave Deeb to squalor in the muck!!!

I'm pretty new to poker, how do these markups even work? 1.2 ? does that mean if i give you a dollar and you win then you'll give me back a dollar , twenty cents?

It means that if I buy in in a tournament for 100$ and sell half my action to you, it will cost you 60$ (at 1.2 markup aka 120%). You would then get half of my winnings, but having paid a premium for it, compared to myself. It is a way for people to stake others, and the better the player is/the more attractive they are to stake, the higher mark up they can charge

It’s not a coincidence Daniel has a beef with all these respected players , Daniel is a scumbag I’ve played in a few tournaments with him in the field he uses his “fame” to angle and pretty much scam people . He knows exactly how to toe the line and make people feel comfortable while he hustles them . I was at a table with him and refused to talk to him and he tried to turn people against me just because I wouldn’t fall for his games . He’s done a great job marketing himself and if he didn’t have the pokerstars money he would be broke . But hey “ more rake is better “ …… ya when the rake is your payday .

For those doubting that Deeb has ethics and is one of the good guys. Possibly the clearest example of his “true personality”…. Look up hime he got quads against Matasow while hinting to otter players he has him crushed. Then and slow rolling:him. Definitely one of the worst things regarding poker etiquette I’ve seen on any poker table ever. Just a gross human being in my opinion. He has class… but sadly it’s “economy”
