Hello. I'm an embroider. My aunt is the quilter in my family and I just live her work. And since recently visited me for my wedding plus gifted me a quilted table runner. So I started looking up videos to help get started on my first one. Plus my mother recently found OLD 1940's patterns (2- 1.5 in binders worth) plus hand stitched quilt patches. And I saw one of your vids and now I'm addicted to your show and helpful hints

I'm a floral designer turned quilter, it's always nice to learn new skills. Especially now since after 25 years of flowers my knees and back have given out and I needed a new outlet, and luckily fabrics come in so many beautiful colors just like flowers.

I've been away on beautiful tropical vacation but couldn't wait to see the next episode of the Midnite Quilt show when I got back. I LOVE this show - its my not-so-secret favorite program to watch for inspiration and of course, your hilarious personality ! I've made so many quilts using your techniques and now have a much easier time tackling new ones. No more fear or hesitation - i get so much personal satisfaction from the freedom and beautiful overall texture when I"m done. PLEASE DON"T STOP making these videos !

I love the quilts you do, but my favorite part is when you show us how you quilt it. That’s the part I need the most help, with. I also love that your shows are light hearted and fun. Though I wish I had a long arm, your videos motivate me to get back in there and keep working on quilting that quilt that is in my sewing machine at this minute. I’m slow, but I always get there eventually! Thank you! I look forward to next season! ❤️

A big reason to start quilting in the middle of your quilt and work your way outwards is that if your layers end up shifting some, the excess fabric can still be adjusted near the edges to avoid having baggy pockets that won't lie flat. (Thorough basting can help you avoid the problem, where ever you choose to start quilting.)

I love this pattern and your all-over simple, but complicated-looking quilting pattern is great also. However, I am going to try to make the square smaller than 16 inches. I need a 12 inch block done in Christmas-themed fabric for a block exchange at our December club meeting so I'm going to try this. I think if the strips were 2 inches instead of 2 1/2 that should do the trick. Thank you for another fun video.
