About me:
I've been learning game development for a few years now, I have a background in software engineering, and I also have a background in education, so being able to combine my love of gaming, software engineering and education is the best way to spend my time.
I am currently working on a few unreal engine games as a hobby, but I am also trying to build a community, thus I am creating KZbin tutorials to find others who are interested in game development and design.

Thousands of hours of blood sweat and tears learning game development, just to play as a skyrim stealth archer lel. Also great videos. You literally saved my life lmao. I've been using them as a reference for my final year university project.

Hey man, just found you and gotta say you’re the best informative ue5 creator I’ve seen, been carrying me through this. Was wondering if you were planning on covering equip/un equip in this series ? Looking on adding this to my project and that’s the last step I need!

Hey! Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it. I'm happy to hear that my content has been helpful for you. I wasn't planning on covering equipping and unequipping in this series, but I do plan to move this functionality to my AI series when done, so maybe I can cover it there

I respectfully suggest considering the implementation of Unreal 5.4's motion matching system in this series. It could greatly streamline the motion setting process.

amazing! Ali, i'm a new subscriber, and this format of video is really quite good. I love following your reasoning behind the blueprints, and your explanations of them it really helps a new game dev like me wrap my head around the logic, which is more important in my opinion. Thank you so much!

Ali, you know you would not post a video without my comment lol... Awesome as usual. But I have a suggestion. When you're looking into doing the inventory system, which I know isn't right now... Could you look at using Data Assets as opposed to a Data Table and Struts? I'm asking because most individuals use data tables and struts... which is fine, but I'm of the opinion that data assets are a better use case particularly for RPG games. It's so easy to set up. Plus it's way more modular and flexible because you can have children of the main data asset blueprint and you can create functions in the Data Assets themselves and that kinda thing. You aren't able to do that with Data Tables and Struts. It's just really awesome and I'm recommending that you check it out.

Hello there, @AliElZoheiry, great tutorial, once again. I'm working on a Stun mechanic for the enemies (YOUR PREVIOUS SERIES), I'm unable to completely stop the character movement of enemies. I've tried everything, they stop their AI behavior but still remain in idle pose after, how should I stop the enemy completely for a few seconds (so they look stunned). Your input would be much appreciated. Thanks.

can u briefly explain how u animated the bow?
@AliElZoheiry
@AliElZoheiry Ай бұрын
I rigged the bow in blender, by adding bones to the mesh. Then I created some constraints that say how the mesh deforms when a certain bone is moved. Then I created poses from idle to fully drawn. All that in Blender. Then I exported the animations to unreal engine

Sir can you please make a tutorial on complex boss ai with paper zd and behaviour tree? I am very new to unreal engine. Ive been learning 2D game development with unreal. I am trying to make a boss battle like hollow knight where the boss has multiple moves based on player location and stats. However i am not finding any tutorial in youtube where someone used a behaviour tree in 2D. Most case 2D boss just has 1 move. So can you kindly make a boss battle tutorial for paper 2D or paper ZD. Thank you.

Thank you for your suggestion! It's an interesting idea for a tutorial. Though 2D is not really my area of expertise unfortunately, but I will consider it in the future. Good luck with your 2D game development journey!

@@AliElZoheiry Thank you. Sadly im new to unreal. So was learning by making 2D game to get used to the engine. And while doing this i found that there aint really any good 2D boss ai wit unreal. There are many with Unity 3D. But almost all 2D tutorial in youtube mostly use just branch node for ai instead of using behaviour tree. Since you made one of the best boss battle ai tutorial for unreal i thought if you ever get the chance you might make a tutorial on it. Thank you
