The broad range and use of varoius instruments is part of what makes this song and the group EPIC 😊😊😊😊

Eluveitie is amazing. One of my favorite folk metal bands. Been listening to them since college - almost 15 years.

@@LuisNunes-ps4sl Don't worry i've been listening to their tunes for the past 10 years, saw them live 4 times and i'll skip the other fan evidences xD Rebirth is my all time fav but the whole Elvetios album has a special place in my heart

Nothing says metal breakdown quite like a violin and flute solo... I love Eluveitie! XD

Hurdy gurdy = Windy-guitar... Awesome, love it

If I did not know it was called a hurdy gurdy in English, I would have gone by an almost literal translation and end up with something like a turning lyre or maybe a crank lyre. (draailier).

Wow, an old song with Anna Murphy. Almost nostalgic.
@orlathemming86894 ай бұрын
That's one of their older songs, with the old female vocalist. But in this song, she's not singing the first voice, she only does a bit backing vocals and supports the screams. Fabienne was her replacement and both singers are amazing, but even if some fans will burn me, I like Fabienne a little more. The old singer was really good, but Fabienne is amazing. But that's just my humble opinion. Please more Elluviete reactions. Not sure which one you already did, but Aidus and Rebirth are the most popular. But every of their songs is good up to amazing.

I'm not a music expert, so not sure if I use the right words, but.. well: I'd say as far as their ability to sing, Fabienne (at least now) is better than Anna was back in Eluveitie. It's not really surprising, what with Anna joining to play instruments and just gradually starting to sing. But I can understand people prefering Anna. Not because she's better, but their voices sound nothing alike, and after hearing the old songs with her.. Fabienne sounds "wrong" for some of them. Not for any technical ability on her part, just because she's got another voice. Personally, I do like both, and I really like Fabienne on most of the old songs - except for "Rose for Epona". I've seen them live again last year, and I even liked Fabienne on the original, swiss version of "Call of the mountain", but not on the Rose for Epona. (That whole gig was phenomenal from them, and it was filmed: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpC5hXaorbqph8kh30m29s )

I love Anna, but Fabi is on another level. We don't even hear half her technical resources in Eluveitie. Though there's Illumishade for that. She can even do growls, live she does the part Chrigel recorded for her band's first album herself. And her chest high notes are bonkers! P.s. Anna was the sound engineer for Illummishade's albums.

Pretty sure he wants to react to it with the rest of the album, I wouldn't be surprised if he were planning to do a full album reaction stream and group Ocean with the opening track in the videos Edit : well nevermind, he just reacted to it on stream and the video will be up tomorrow

I actually prefer the break off band Cellar Darling. The Hurdy Gurdy player Anna Murphy took the drummer and guitar player and the trio is more like prog-metal.
