Josh and Tim HHA makes a centermass dovetail that is compatible with their tetra sights also they have the zero stop 20 with their head moving independently. You guys should play with them a little more so hard to beat their sights

I think people overlook the trophy ridge digital react. I don't like the stock scope at all, so I put a spot hogg on one and a uv3xl on the other. I can sight in any arrow in about 10 minutes.. Shoot the arrow through a chronograph.. Plug the speed in. Sight in at 20 yards, then shoot 60-100 yards to add or subtract a few fps to get it dialed in. Whole thing takes 10 minutes, no tapes needed. I do use a tape on the side... Just for the second pin when using a 2 pin vertical. The large digital yardage readout is amazing... And I only charge it like every few months.

It kinda broke my heart that Ranch Fairy didn't get to shoot a TAC or just shoot in general with you guys. His heart is in the right place. I feel like that interview with dud turned him off. I think in person with you guys things would of been different.

For MFJJ could you do an Archery 10q or short for using the Sharpie to properly put witness marks on your bow and bowstrings as discussed in the pod cast?

I've really enjoy this podcast/conversation you guys have but geez I wish I owned my own bow shop so I could afford a second bow hell a new bow for that matter. MFJJ said "if you are buying a new bow every three or five years", LOL my bow is 16 years old this year, my old bow (which I still have) to act as my second bow is nearly 30 years old. And this is my hobby and the thing I enjoy I just don't have the funds to get a new bow. Keep up the great content I really enjoy it.

Perfect timing! Im new to shooting a bow this year and i was doing well at first, but after i started diving into the shot wormhole i started torquing badly. Had my local archery shot help me out but all the videos on torque and proper posture the better!

Black Gold hits the sweet spot for value and performance IMO. I would like to see a larger knob but Gillingham does over a solution. I would like to see a way to swap a UV scope in there though.

Thanks again guys great pod! Im currently running a spot hogg grinder 5 pin. Its been great but I’d really love to get a moveable sight. Really hard to justify paying that much money for a top tier sight. I just got a Leupold scope with illumination on my deer rifle for not much more than a UV slider. Crazy prices these days

Gillingham’s replacement knobs for Black Gold sights are an absolute must. I love Black Gold and always gravitate back to them. My biggest gripe has always been their adjustment knob. Now if they would only position it closer to the sight instead of sticking out three inches, I’d be a happy guy.

I really love my Canyon Pounder 3-pin. I love the micro adjustments, ease of 1-2-3 axis adjustments, and the ability to switch out to a single pin by simply flipping the other pins out of the way. I understand the price can be a drawback when compared to the Black Gold products, but I doubt I’ll switch any time soon…

Great chat to listen to as always. As in Brandon McDonald's video, I guess your always accounting for what could be the worst case scenario and your own personal experiences of what may have happened in the past, maybe there is an option to have a fixed and a mechanical in the quiver to choose in the moment for its pro etc. Interesting Broadhead mentioned @ the 36min (Brandon Video). 😉

if you havent tried it, you should try kyoto method for cold brew. Alton brown got me into it, and its friggin awesome. I still use his 2L bottle method! If HHA had first axis adjustment, that would be my favorite sight! For black gold, I wish they had either metal sight tapes or a way that was easier to change sight tapes other than constantly ripping them off and sticking a new one on. I shoot different arrows for different games and hha has a super easy of swapping tapes.

Micro adjustable indicators I think we need to see more of. I also do not like sights that require an Allen key to unlock windage. That being said for a pure hunting sight I suppose set it and forget it.

Higher poundage bows are easier to tune than lower poundage bows because of the tension level or stored energy. I recently set up two 40 lbs bows and they were so finicky due to the ease of manipulation.

People shoot crossbows and animals still duck the projectile and you’ll never get a compound to shoot as fast as a crossbow. Speed is nice but can also have tuning issues 290+ FPS just read the animal behavior and act accordingly cut yardage or aim lower.
