I feel like audio reviews are kind of redundant, and pointless. Everyone’s opinion is going to be different. We all hear different, we all have different sized ears, and head. So, with that being said, it’s easier for us to just go and try them at the store if possible.
@TotallydubbedHD2 жыл бұрын
That's not possible for a lot of people - and having reviewed over 500 audio related devices for the past 10 years, I'd be inclined to decline with that comment - some won't have the experience of ability to access the sound, and that's where reviews help people make their own informed decision :)

Hey i'm Chris from germany. Today i bought the bose 700 for my wife and the px7 for me. The bose are very very comfortable, the px7 are so tight on my big head. It hurts. But for me, the Sound on the px7 is much better. Nice warm sound but a little bit to quietly. The bose are much louder but no Bass -.- for my hybrid trap music a dealbreaker. Next i try the Momentum 3 and i hope there are louder than the px7. Very nice Review. Greetings from germany

@@TotallydubbedHD Thanks for your answer :) the anc is not so important for me. Once a week i take the train for 2 hours. It's okay for me. Mostly i hear music at home. My wife take the subway two times a day. There is anc more important.

The assertion that it's a given that noise cancelling is the primary reason folks buy these headphones is incorrect. This person might not be familiar with segmentation.

Many thanks for this great review. I am thinking of buying these headphones, however can you advise if its possible to change the codec in my Samsung s10 Plus? When I change these the phone doesn't seem to retain the new information, ie APTX and sample rate etc. Any help appreciated. Many Thanks
@TotallydubbedHD4 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked it. Technically you can hard-set the codec via the developer options, but given this (and your S10+) have aptX support, you won't have to change the codec, rather, it'll default to the highest quality available. What do you mean it doesn't retain it though?
@ianbrown7044 жыл бұрын
@@TotallydubbedHD Thanks for your advise. When I go into developer settings and change bluetooth from SBC to aptX and then back out, when I go back into check it I notice its reverted back to SBC.Just cant get it to store the changes!If it helps I am running Andriod 10. Many Thanks. Also I am torn between the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 3's (£299 on amazon UK) and the B&W PX7? I mainly listen to vocal and classical and like a bright sound (I have always turned the treble up on most amps etc for years) not prob the best way to obtain the best sound! I am not too bothered about ANC as I will mainly be connecting by wire as I am using a ifi hip-dec. Many thanks
@TotallydubbedHD4 жыл бұрын
@@ianbrown704 if you're not bothered about ANC, get the Momentum 3; they're superior in sound, in my opinion. As for the codec, which device do you have connected to your S10+ that it is doing that type of behaviour? If nothing is connected, the default will be SBC; if there's something connected that can't support aptX, it will also default to AAC or SBC.
@ianbrown7044 жыл бұрын
@@TotallydubbedHD Thanks, wont take up any more of your time. But finally, I don't have anything connected to the S10 I loaned some Sony wh1000xm3's from my brother. I am new to all this, do I need to have a wireless headphones connected before I can change the bluetooth settings (Bits/Codec)? Cheers I will buy the M3's via your link.
@TotallydubbedHD4 жыл бұрын
@@ianbrown704 indeed, you need to have something connected, or else it will revert back to SBC - it's normal. I suggest leaving it on Auto, then next time you connect headphones, check that option in dev, and you'll see it go to the right codec. In the case of the XM3, it'll go to LDAC (better than any of the other Bluetooth codecs) - hope that helps ? :)

Your description of the PX7 sound is contrary to other reviews. It would have been helpful if you told us what songs you played, at what volume, and from which sources. All of this is critical to understanding why you say the headphones have an emphasized treble and veiled mids.
