Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine kzbin.infoUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Being part of the Tatanka Oyaté (Buffalo People) following the herds of buffalo is what my ancestors did for generations. The one he harvested was still beautiful but idk there was something about the first one I’m glad he didn’t harvest😂 But good hunt and kill buddy and kudos to you for all the respect you gave the animal, you gave him time after he was gone to lay and enjoy where he was one last time. And it takes a real man to admit they got choked up after you hit the shot. Can’t congratulate you enough and thank the good lord and the Buffalo himself for letting you harvest him. It took hard hours of frustration after they kept running but you took your time, understood and kept going and it finally payed off. Once again congratulations man and thank you buffalo for giving him and his family meat in the freezer and for the entertaining video and also your beauty and just a great hunting experience. Hunting season is right around the corner and will be here sooner than we think ( I hope I’m anxious to get out in the woods already). Great video and content keep it up. As a lifetime rifle hunter i do enjoy watching the bow hunting community and hunters for their dedication and ethics. But videos like these are a perfect example of how the bow comes before the animal, where a 7mm rem or anything basically that is designed to take down bulls would have felled it in a few meters, compared to the extra suffering a bow does just because the hunter is in love with a particular weapon instead of minimizing harm to the animal. Much respect but its to much of a risk off suffering with bows on larger animals for my liking. Regards

could someone tell me what the point of hunting is if you are not going to eat it, or skin it for a pelt? I have hunted but I only do so to connect me with nature, and the circle of life, which means to me hunting for purpose. For me to kill an animal for the fun of it, seems to me sadistic. But please, do not be offended, I want to get in the mind of someone like the person on this video so myself, and others can understand what is gained from killing an animal for the fun. Again, no disrespect, just genuinely curious.
@BackcountryBowhunter7 жыл бұрын
Joe I wish you wouldn’t assume that I only kill an animal “for fun” as you say. I too hunt for the very reasons you mentioned. To connect with nature, my Creator and to also provide food for my family. Some hunters over do the "respect the animal" bit. Your killing the the thing; that's justifying your morality to salve your conscience. A clean & quick kill is the best you can do. It's considerate on the grounds of empathy. It's not necessary in the modern age. But I do recommend those who eat meat, do hunt for themselves, so a full appreciation of what's involved is realised. A lot of good hunters are more in tune with animals and there behaviour than the average person. This is what makes the good ones more considerate.

This is the way of life. Hunting is one of the deepest instincts of mankind and the adrenaline and endorphin caused by hunting will never fade and people will forever pursue this "sport" or should I say way of life. I really respect it as its not easy and I think there is more shame to eating some mcdonalds burger that was gained by a poor almost tortured cow drowning in its own feces at some mcdonalds factory, forced to death. These bulls would've died eventually either way. He died in a very spiritual and respectful way. Many many animals that you consume probably on a daily basis die for absolutely nothing but mere addiction to meat and unhealthy food. I could go on for hours about this but I wont waste your time I hope you get my point and I will definetely respect yours or anyone elses opinion though! I love to have arguments and hear other peoples thoughts. Just think about it. I thinl theres alot more obese americans consuming fast food "meat" everyday than hunters that are highly skilled in an ancient art of survival. Cheers :)

ImASavage ok I don't care about hunting animals, but this isn't a very good argument considering there are MANY ways to eat without hunting. Just poking at your logic a bit, sorry lol
@michaelhenry32347 жыл бұрын
You either go vegan or your eating an animal, which gets killed in some way. Hell, hunting is better, in my opinion, because your not supporting slaughterhouses with shitty ethics.

@@nwhipple1302 So, do you think that no animals are harmed if you buy meat from a grocery store? Or mabie you just want someone else to do the dirty work for you, so that you can pretend to have morals and condemn the prople who do it for themselves.

My older brother loves to hunt. He was looking for I think it was a 44/40. The old man at that gun shop told him, Son, you are looking for a gun older than me, good luck finding one, they do not even make them anymore, that was a Buffalo gun from waaaaasy back." I have no idea if he ever found one.
