Richard set out to find a cheap fun car. He failed on the cheap part, but what he did find was the Bowler Wild Cat, an off-road sensation which caused Richard to dub himself a 'driving god'. The Stig then takes the Wild Cat out for a spin on the test track.

Bowler Nemesis is out and is even better. As for the thing on the back, that's a pair of spare tires held on by blue nylon straps. It's made for racing after all, they need a fix in the field.

um, its a dune truck, look up "pre-runners" In general dune trucks have MASSIVE amounts of travel, if your going over a 15'' bump, your going to want as much travel as you can get to get over the bump with as little disturbance as possible. Also, if you catch air, you want your suspension to hang down as far as possible so your suspension has enough time to counter gravity.

The Defender isn't even a Ford design, on which this 4x4 was based. That design is ancient, just shows how great the Defender design is.

the nemsis has a lower centre of gravity, wider track and longer wheelbase than the wildcat. the nemesis also uses bits and bobs from thge range rover sport. Its basically a much improved version with a different body shell

It looks like its got a Defender body bolted onto a rally spec space frame chassis and suspension. I can't see how you can go wrong with that! The Defender's body is the toughest out there! They've still gotta win Dakar and its not easy for a small company like Bowler to compete against the giants VW, BMW and Mitsubishi which spend almost millions developing their desert bashing Dakar winners. But they've still got a good record of finishing Dakar in one piece which is still an achievement!
