I was genuinely impressed by the resilience of this vehicle. But then again, perhaps it’s not so surprising that a Japanese brand such as Toyota, would make cars able to survive earthquakes and tsunamis! I got a 90s Chevy Van thats still going strong but a bit rusty, and my friend just got his 90s Jeep Wrangler fixed after being in its like 3rd accident. The Civic was done, this got totaled because insurance says its only worth like $5k but all it needed was a fuel pump. We replaced the tank anyway since it got bent, and a hitch woulda saved it. Now with new bumpers on it (for $450) it'll be more likely to survive the next one. Never really was a fan of Jeep, I know of endless issues especially with newer ones, but damn is that thing going.

ali gunaydin You know I own a 2015 W212 E350 and to be honest I love it. They are indeed less reliable if you’re not willing to maintain it or if you treat it like a Toyota, it’s just isn’t a Toyota period. But if you are willing to fork out the $300 oil changes, $600 spark plug service, $500 transmission Sevice, follow the service Intervals closely and prepared to pay for parts that are Inherently more expensive then it should last you a lifetime. Then the reward is a supremely smooth ride with the legendary solid handling and sound isolation that you just can’t quite get in a Japanese car. There is just something about a European car.

@garretthu2466 4 жыл бұрын
wantafanta01 not sure about bikes, the things that need to be done isn’t insane on my E350...10k/annual oil changes, Brake fluid replacement every 20k, 45k for spark plugs, 77.5k for transmission. Of course you also have the engine air filter every 10k-20k. So it’s bit outside of the regular maintenance of modern Japanese cars but the service costs are about 30-40% more (using authorized dealers).

Sadly i had to get rid of it cause the cost to replace it was to great and i couldn't do it by myself. Its still driving today with a new owner.
