Got about 10 games on my Frequency and it hits like a truck. Not sure what all the layout numbers came out to but the mass is in center of thumb hole with the dot up and slightly right of ring finger. Gets rolling pretty early but very controllable. Can’t wait to see how it works for you JR

I really enjoy this. How would I go about asking my PSO if I can layout it out but have him drill it. I'm not sure anyone had ever asked him to do that

I have the Pro-Sect, but don't have a drill press, so I do this all the time. I usually get a slight price break since I've done half the work. My PSO has my specs as far as pitches, span and hole sizes.

How do layout a spare ball? Just need it to go straight. Does the pin matter?

pin does not matter really, the ball is gonna go pretty straight considering most plastic balls only have a pancake weight block, i just put my pin in the middle of my grip, works great

id rather see a video on how to drill balls for differnt ball reactions and not what you are looking for for your tournement needs. if youre looking for a strong flip at the break point, on a Asym, is the only number you should be concerned about the Pin to Val...etc.

Ok.. My problem is this... I take my ball.. Get my PAP... How do I get it on a new ball not drilled yet ???

Pick a polyester ball first. You will need one anyway for spares. Have the grip drilled and then determine your PAP. Polyester balls have a basic pancake weight block and the layout doesn't really matter.

@@BowlerXcom I'm with this guy. I've been watching videos all day and learned a bunch, but still don't have any understanding of how to do this myself. I don't have any inclination to drill balls myself, but I would like to be knowledgeable enough about the topic that I could draw up the layout myself. I haven't found any videos that really explain how it's decided. I assume it's easy enough to learn since there are hundreds of pro shops each with guys that know how to do this, but no one is very clear on how to learn it.

you can do different layouts that fit you that do different things, search "dual angles"
