After the new rule banning balance holes the first angle no longer matters for a symmetric core ball, the PSA or Mass Bias will always be in the thumb.

Jr, the smaller “N” in the x-2 means lower flare correct?

Larger flare, and stronger overall ball motion for the RST layout. Small "N" = smaller angle sum which generally correlates with stronger ball motion.
