I’m liking everything you’ve said about the Forge Ember being a straighter ball. I have the Forge flare and this would be a great addition to my arsenal. Nice review. Sometimes straighter is greater for those challenging patterns.

I’m loving mine! Changed the surface to 4000 and it is a phenomenal look for me. Shot 725 with it last Monday and won my center’s strike pot. Had 29 out of a possible 36 strikes.

I'm totally new to the motiv brand. I have the Jackal Ghost and Golden Jackal. How would this ball fit in my bag, or what would you reccomend?

You likely don’t need this and a Jackal Ghost, the Forge line is Symmetric so it will provide a slightly different ball reaction but I don’t believe you will have a need for both as they are both very strong. I would look at either the Pride Empire or even the venom line as something to step down to when the Jackals are too strong

Is this something a 2 hander with high speed high revs could use as a benchmark ball?

I would say no, not unless you're playing on really heavy oil. High revs are going to make a cover this strong either overreact on dry or burn up and die before it ever gets to the pins. I would stick with the Venom line or a Tank if you can find one.
