Reminds me of the former Willowbrook Lanes in Willowbrook, Illinois. Same wood lanes, pinsetters and masking units. I used to bowl there a lot when i lived in that area.

Nice, I've never bowled there. I was told this place looks like the Crystal Bowl in Crystal Lake, IL. I'm not sure if that place is even open anymore :/

​@@PinDominatorkinda similar to Crystal. Much brighter. Lol. Crystal was honestly a gem for a place that did 0 upgrades over 30 years. At one point Crystal was the first center in McHenry County to install auto scoring and synthetic lanes. I miss that place.

Yeah I'm gonna miss them. And yup, this is the center that sparked my interest in bowling. I used to bowl here all the time as a kid

Wow, everything got redesigned nicely love the new pins. Also, the sound is so satisfying. I really do miss my wooden pins and wow you are rocking the other ball some amazing solid shots. or close to my birthday. I’m getting a new Brunswick mindset bowling ball this coming May 10.

Yeah lane 8 used to have a nice deck shield. No, I never bowled Junior Gold because I never knew about that event in highschool. I would not have done well since my highschool didn't have a bowling team meaning I never got to bowl or train on sport patterns ever.

This is the same place. Some of the lanes used to have deck shields, but they were taken down. Lane 2 or 4 might still have one

Yo, are you gonna try and check out Asbury Lanes in New Jersey? I heard it's not as good as it used to be, but let's see how it is from your experience now that it's modernized. They have GS-NXT pinsetters there.

The new scoring system is used actually(Vector), which hasn't been sold new since 2018. I would say that Vector is a big downgrade from the ComputerScore system(what was there previously)

@@PinDominator Vector with touchscreens is especially bad, almost all of the ones here have gone out of calibration and you have to press under the button you want to press.

In fact, I bowled at a center called "Playdium" located in Quezon City🇵🇭, they used to have the old Frameworx Scoring with Touchscreens since 2003 until they replaced their Touchscreens for Keyboards in 2016 and eventually they got the Vector Plus scorings in 2017 while swapping out the Frameworx Keyboards for the Vector Keyboards. The coolest part about their keyboards is they're transparent.
