In the wake of the El Paso and Ohio shootings what was the response Walmart started taking violent video games off the shelf yet they still sell guns. I understand that banning guns isn't the solution much like banning anything it doesn't make it go away but we are all aware that mass shootings are carried out by people who are mentally ill we know what the problem is so why not make it more difficult for them to be able to obtain guns. Ask yourself this what's more important your right to bare arms or the right to feel safe knowing that you can go to a public place and not have to fear being gunned down.

@Steve Black I think you are out of your mind and have probably never left the US. How do any people in Europe survive at all in 'gun-free zones? - Yes, we have extremely high murder and suicide rates, we are afraid of school shootings ALL THE TIME and yes, OMG, those dozens of murders with vehicles, explosives, knives, and chemicals - so many more than in the US... Irony off: Do you ever check statistics before you say stupid things like that?
@Rauschgenerator5 жыл бұрын
Oh, a lot has changed; the USA have a president which is even more stupid than the one in 2002 (what nobody could see coming), radical nationalists are taking over all over the world, severely damaging the EU, pressing ahead with burning the rain forest in Brazilia, deaths by guns went up in the USA to over 17.000, climate change is nearly out of control, and the radical right is quite successful in blaming 16 year old girls for quoting 99,7% of the climate scientists in the world, 70 million human beings are war refugees, oh, and the rich became even more rich while the poor became even more poor. Yay. Someday this will end in disaster. Or in a "1984" like scenario. I fear the latter.
@redviper3245 жыл бұрын
nicitanic How about you check the stats yourself : Switzerland has a gun policy similar to many US states and has one of the lowest crime pourcentage, the UK has banned guns for a while now and crime is still rising. How about Australia, which has seen crimes go down after their ban of weapons ? Well just look at the country next to it, New Zealand. New Zealand didn’t ban weapons, yet crime dropped even more significantly there than in Australia. This is just to say that these comparisons make no sense and it clearly shows that « more gun restriction = less crime » is a false statement to say the least.

Adam Gordon It's Moore's business model, actually. Selling outrage. Moore picks a leftist talking point, aims it at the applicable enemy (NRA here; white man is the traditional enemy to all leftist groups), and sells it. Moore tweaks certain situations to make it more outrageous, such as the bank/guns farce. That said, yes, it's designed as a comical thing, as all his work is - it's supposed to be entertaining, but it's manufactured outrage he makes a buck off of and dumbs down issues in favor of the leftist agenda. In short, its propaganda and it needs to be called as such.

@puzzles did you not read Evin's reply????? I don't know nor do I care where you live but shooters have been "stopped" by civilians, this occurs more often than you'd probably assume. Guns are just tools. In the right/ responsible trained hands they are useful weapons. In the wrong hands they cause unnecessary death and havoc. Michael's movie is just that, a movie. The poor guy has been virtue signaling anything and everything in hopes he'll be praised by the left. He often edits/cuts out the truth in his films. Its actually difficult and expensive to legally own fire arms in the usa ( despite Michael's movies)
@chickmagnetpunk10443 жыл бұрын
@puzzles i think youtube is blocking you from seeing her reply but she gave you multiple cases of recent civilians from ending mass shooters. Fbi statistics were involved as well. The purpose of fire arms is for protection. But of course the "baddies" will use it for other means, mostly for dishonest evil gains. Please believe me, in the usa, there's already plenty of Regulations and strict gun laws...too many to list here so you'll have to google them all in 2021. Despite what source you'll research, please cross examine it. I used to believe every wordto whoever Im bias towards. I believed very blindly towards any source or channel or entertainer i was either attracted to or admired in some fashion. Again, cross examine and deep very carefully into truth, wherever you find it
@chickmagnetpunk10443 жыл бұрын
@puzzles banning guns isn't a smart move either. The "baddies" well always get their hands on what's illegal. Remember, they don't play by the rules. Recent cases of civilians stopping shooters: . Titusville ( Brevard county) .White Settlement Texas church . Oklahoma city Restaurant . Walmart in Tumwater Etc etc etc etc. According to the FBI's website, "No fewer than 19 times in a five-year span (and that estimate may be low) - from 2014 to 2018 - when active shooters were stopped or repelled by citizens. Seven times armed citizens stopped the shooting entirely. Twice an armed citizen engaged the shooter and caused him to flee the scene. Citizens stop active shooters less often than the police do, but it’s crystal clear that armed citizens have saved lives. They’ve stopped massacres that would have further plunged American families and American communities into deep grief."

Owning a gun doesn’t make you a dangerous or bad person. I don’t believe gun laws should change in the States. Except for a more extensive and more thought out background check. If your mentally stable and the background check proves that, then I personally feel safer around people with firearms. Who knows, they may just end up saving a life.

Right, six years olds should keep being massacred at school. May God forgive you.

After the interview with Heston in his house, Moore will probably never be invited anywhere again. And rightfully so.

I am astonished that people actually watched this trash. People really are dimwitted, especially with what is being said in the top comments.
