Idk. It would be nice to leave it as a dedication to Paul, but Roy is his own man with his own credentials and vision. Paul started this all, but I think us-the audience and fans-would do well to welcome Roy with an open mind. I think that’s what Paul wants.

Go to a local bowling alley, they might have some old pins they are itching to sell. My local alley was selling boxes of 10 for $20 and I wish I had picked up a few at the time. The set I bought has been shot so much, it's ready for church; the pins are holey!

@@DanielBuhlermy friend did that a long time ago in the 1980’s which they gave us 10 bowling pins free. I don’t know what the situation now but asking won’t hurt & paying a few dollars for old & damaged bowling pins for shooting is great fun.

This is a great idea. It's way too easy to get caught up in the seriousness of this hobby because it so often HAS to be taken seriously but there are tons of times and ways that it can just be silly and fun

Jon got a spare, which requires the scorer to count the next shot (in the next frame) as added to that frame. In the last frame, he gets a bonus shot at a full set of pins.

Roy looking more and more ever so comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I know this hasn't been easy, not only to transition from being one of the "crew" behind the scenes. Enjoying and setting up shoots, drills, specials and everything involved with the Channel, while trying to support and navigate the absolute HELL your Brother Paul is going through. The Community couldn't be more Proud of you Mr. Roy, along with the Crew stepping up and becoming camera friendly and sharing their thoughts and talents with the Channel. We're all still constantly praying for Paul and Family are in our thoughts and prayers daily. Anything we could do to help support, just say the word and we can figure it out from there. Keeping the Channel going and teaching and educating, while having fun and making it an enjoyable experience for all is a true testament to the power of Mr. Paul Harrell.

Use refilled plastic pop bottles, may be use sand instead of water. .5 liter to 1 liter up to 2 liter size and points for each.

Got a genuine chuckle with this. Good way to practice aim, have fun at the same time. Fun makes it easier and less like work. Us guys who live in cities won't be able to, though. It's times like this I envy you guys closer to the forests.

Good to see Jon again. We would place 10 pins on a 3 ft X 3ft piece of plywood set on a 55 gal plastic drum. From 20 yds, we had to knock the pins to the ground for hits to count. The more shot up the pins and plywood got, the more fun it became. Pins that tipped over but stayed on the table presented all kinds of challenges. Paul’s .44 mag would be just the ticket for such work. My personal preference was the .41 mag. Fun times…

Looks like fun on the range with the boys. Maybe do a drill where you have 1 pin at 6 different distances say 5, 10,15,20,25 and 30 and you get one shot for each. More points for the further targets and whoever scores the most wins. Time it too for more challenge

This looks like it would be a total blast! You could live-trap some wild Soda Jugs and make a variation of this with explosive results! Or, if you want to stick to bowling pin sized targets, you could freeze some liter sized water bottles and have a goodtime until they melted!! Give Paul some love from us all :)

There are times it feels like a shoot better when my targets are random odds and ends like tin cans. Smaller, lower profile target means less room for error, so it forces one to really focus on proper technique.
