So now in order to get Stomp on the Thwomp in 2x A press optimally, you need to set a HOLP in Rainbow Road for a HOLP in BitS then enter TTC. Perfect.

We set the HOLP in BitFS for a HOLP in BitS for MWttS. We set the HOLP in RR for a HOLP in BitS for SotT. If there are any future stars that require a BitS HOLP, we set their HOLP in BoB too.

1. The HOLP is indeed functional in the castle. However, there are no objects in the upstairs area of the castle and no way to bring an object up there (don't say 'but what if we do x', the answer is no). 2. You cannot clone coins in the pyramid because there is nothing to grab. However, we could clone 99 coins outside of the pyramid and then enter it, and we would keep those coins. However, we have only a few seconds in the elevator during which escaping it 0x would be useful, and there is no conceivable way to collect a coin during that time.

genuine question: why do you consider a star to be 0x when you have to set up the HOLP in a course that cannot be accessed 0x ? I know you can couple it with another star in RR (in this case) but after that you will have to go down so if you want to go back to RR (let's say to set up another HOLP), it will count as another A press in the final run (so i'ts like a "joker" if you want it to really be 0x) Shouldn't it be a special way to mark these stars ? (like "external 1x" or something)

No. We do not have to go back to RR. We collect all but the 100 coin star and the red coin star in RR first. Then, we set this HOLP and collect those stars. We don't have to re-enter RR.

He landed on a lege while moving upwards in order to save vertical speed. Since walking would reset the speed to 0, he punched his way to the ledge to activate the VSC. Activating the VSC caused him to go up off of the ledge rather than immediately falling down. If you're asking how he ground pounded, you don't need to press A to gp.

There is a way to get the cogs in the to freeze allowing for a pedro spot however to get to that state it takes 52 years however it's not as long as sm64ds remote interaction glitch which can take a couple centuries

Look for Watch for Rolling Rocks and any other star involving PU movement. Those take at least half a day in most cases (more commonly a day). I would assume a full game run is about 7 days but I'm just guessing.

WFRR has been optimized and takes much less time now (like 5 hours total, iirc) but now there are other much more time consuming strats like LLL: Elevator Tour. The current estimate is like two and a half days of continuous play (again, iirc).
