I feel like if eggman pulled out the time eater or the nega-wisp armour instead of the death egg he could've actually pulled his own weight instead of relying on metal.

What about the egg robo from lost world? It was just powered by a SINGLE planet and was so powerful the wisp stoled the egg robo energy to give to sonic and you can argue that the egg robo >>> egg nega wisp because the wisp decided to steal egg robo's energy instead of making the combined attack they did in colors, (also,all of this happened in the ds version) Again,the egg robo was just powered by a single planet so with the 7 emeralds he could keep up with bowser (also forgot to add,in the ds version the egg robo can create stars and a black hole)

I personally think Super Neo Metal specifically should have eventually won it, but that is just because I feel like Bowser’s win con against him was a grand star attack that I think he should have been able to dodge instead of trying to just tank it. But I will admit that is me grasping at straws.

It’s because metal sonic wanted to eliminate the biggest threat he new that if he dodged and then fired bowser would also dodge plus if he dodged eggman would have died

Not really. Even the more powerful Death Egg, which can output the power to destroy multiple stars, can be matched by the striking force of your average Yoshi, which can create a whole constellation of stars just by punting someone hard enough

That is so wrong. Bowser is at least 9x as strong as a Hulk at minimal anger, and tough enough to survive black holes, and also the second fastest main Mario character (only behind Yoshi, who is sometimes supersonic). I don’t know much about the Egg Dragoon, but judging that it is one of Eggman’s choices of a lesser mech to use, it clearly doesn’t stand a chance.
