Most of the time tagalog dialect has more syllables than english words making it harder and longer to pronounce. Here are some examples: Fastest = Pi-na-ka-ma-bi-lis Peace = Ka-pa-ya-pa-an Dream = Pa-na-gi-nip Birth = Pag-si-lang or Ka-pa-nga-na-kan Pinoy speed rappers has to work double/triple/quadruple time to deliver such compressed and complexed words. Just imagine being fluent shifting from one word to another with lyrics that are much longer to pronounce without losing breath, sharpness, accuracy, flow and melody while maintaning the same storyline/idea equivalent to its english translation. One of the things im proud of for being a Filipino!!!
