Those clear Ultra Pro boxes are used by distributors to repackage unsold Magic the Gathering cards into randomized 'super packs', so I imagine this was a similar thing. The timeframe to sell these blind bags at a store expired so the store sent them back to the distributor, the distributor put them into a super pack and resent them out to stores.

Frank Schneider i have seen it and i agree it's the best fantastic four. while it's cheap, it actually captures each character perfectly. it also has heart, which every other ff movie lacks. it was at one time considered a very bad movie, though.

Thomas Jenkins Yes, and despite the bad effects, i felt the 1994 version of the thing looked more like the original, than in any of the later versions. Same with Mr. Fantastic. But if you want to see bad movies then try the 2 Captain America TV movies of 1979 or the 1978 Doctor Strange TV movie. The Nick Fury - Agent of Shield movie with David Hasselhoff from 1998 on the other hand is surprisingly entertaining and the Hoff fits the role really well, although they surely must have thought about alternatively hiring an actor for it.

Thomas Jenkins I saw that, when it came out in 1989. In contrast to most people I don't like it, but am not really sure why. Could be, because I usually tend to avoid movies with people like Lundgren, van Damme or Segal in the lead role. Or maybe it's because the Punisher is one of my favorite characters and all 3 movies didn't do him justice.

I use that exact same UltraPro case for my EDH Magic decks. They fit 100 cards and you can put the commander in the front. Looks really cool stacked and you can visually identify the deck quickly. I also use 'em for normal 60 card decks with dice in the back.

You got it right. That box was to get rid of old stock. Marvel has not been selling any Fantastic Four toys, items or comics for awhile now. It is so that Sony will find the property unprofitable and hopefully have the rights revert back to them (Marvel). Considering the horror of the latest FF movie, I'm truly hoping that Marvel wins...
