BOX WRAPPED! 2 tone- 4 Fi 18's * Tahoe System Rebuild Vid 25

today i spent the entire day wrapping the removeable port. I used a technique ive never seen or done before and i got lucky! Spent the last part of the day wrapping the remainder of the top half. Tomorrow i will finish the small trim pieces

I used the same technique with my port except I use an anglegrinder to cut the grooves, but it worked lol! Box is looking GOOD Steve! Getting so close! :D

Nice, It looks like you could fit another 18 in the middle, but the box would be very unstable because you would have to take alot of bracing out

IMO, sealed usualy has better sound quality across the whole range, but ported is louder at whatever frequency it is tuned too, but with ported u need a bigger box than what you would need with sealed. i prefer ported.

was always curious about box volume for 4 18s in a Tahoe with the same space as my yukon, and the fact that the port looks small and very short. when I did my 3 18s I used a 15 inch aero port from Jon Rabe and technically it was still not enough square inches of port area . the port was 23 inches long and the triple 18 box was 48 wide , 38 deep and 26 tall. your tuning is 30 hzs from when u gave me the demo back in 2014. what's your sq inches of port area per cube ??
