Bradley Welsh was brutally murdered in a gangland slaying which the police knew about but did nothing. I look at the full case from start to finish and give my thoughts on the failure of the police to give Bradley a threat to life warning. #bradleywelsh #jamesenglish #mattlegg #truecrimestory #edinburgh #hibernian

RIP Brad i spoke to him on the Sunday before, in a convo about the old days as Hibs On Tour were legendary. Ran amok in London when last home international happened in 88. RIP he done nothing but good now, pure tragedy. Polis dont like you, they let it happen. Self cleaning oven. As Brad was staunch but legal for decade or more. Done nothing to merit this. RIP

This was a sad one, whatever Bradley did in the past he turned his life around to help the needy and the under privileged. That was no way to go out. With regards to the police you can never trust them, they didn’t regard it as a credible threat??, more like they let the scenario play out and picked up the aftermath. If only Bradley was told he could have been more aware and vigilant to his surroundings. RIP

This was a really good video. Great audio and first-class pictures etc. I was of the opinion if the police receive information concerning a murder threat on a person, the police HAD to inform the person subject of the threat. I mean, fuck me they never gave Bradley, the chance to at least change his routine. Never mind about further enquiries, that poor sod was slaughtered! I would have thought legal action and a claim for restitution/damages against the police, with payouts at the very least to Bradley's family. What a crying shame!

You think brad didn't already know he was a target? You actually think he needed the police to warn of him of the danger to life? You dont think brad knew what the scenario was that led to this? I liked wee brad, hadn't seen him in some time and have every sympathy for his loss but the naivety on display is bizarre.

The fact is there was an immediate danger to life how do you know he knew there was an immediate danger to life? His family say he didn't. Either way the old bill had a duty to warn him which could hve made a difference. Its as simple as that.
@talboyovGY
@talboyovGY 7 ай бұрын
@enquirer2.0 oh well if his family said he didn't know then obviously he didn't lol! It's not my place to discuss the events behind this and I don't know a vast amount of the details but what I do know is if I were in the same sort of scenario I'd assume there was a high chance of something extreme occurring. That's as much as I wish to discuss because Brad was a CCS lad and whilst i could elaborate further on the subject i'm not going to as I've said too much as it is.

Bradley was a lively lad back in the day but then again so were a lot of young guys trying to find their way life, coming from one of the schemes in Edinburgh, schemes that are all over the UK, I'm more to the west central belt in Scotland Airdrie in Lanarkshire, tough wee towns where violence and that lifestyle is all that's honestly known it's not that you even set out for a lifestyle like that well I didn't but before I knew it I was balls deep witnessing personally a couple of murders. In fact I'll give you an example of what kind of situations I unknowingly got myself into through this family and their goons,, bearing in mind this was through one of my best mates. I was around 18 and this was like some kind of twisted initiation, in one of their flats there was a few of us sittin shooting the breeze just what I thought was getting a bit of patter an a laugh, the usual carry on this guy's flat had the decks set up in his living room coz he was right into his music as I was myself, vinyl records this was many moons ago, so he's on the decks not touching a drop of booze he made sure I was getting tore into the drink though, the lines were flying about an all. Let's say about an hour goes by an I'm like fucking hell what's happening I'm right out my face and I mean right out my face anyway he'd spiked me with mescaline dunno if you know what that is, it's a hallucinogenic much much stronger than acid "just me" , so what he proceeded to say the whole night were heavy stories with heavy outcomes about different situations around our area, but this is the real fucked up thing he would put blatant lies in some of situations, you know the reason why he was doing this ? To find out if the lie got back to him he would know exactly where and when it came from. Ye so that was some sort of fucked up twisted initiation to see if I would open my mouth about what was being said in his house, how fuct is that ?? Well he can't go near the scheme he grew up or its tata to him coz he brought H into the scheme all those years ago and it's wiped out countless folk. Weird how when you reap what you sow comes a calling.

The problem with these osman warnings is that everyone & anyone can dish out Micky mouse threats and the authorities struggle to work out what’s genuine or credible. Now, in this situation i imagine that the source was someone under surveillance to begin with and the police assumed they could use it to prosecute them if caught on route or planning the attack. Basically they (egomaniac police) care more about the prosecution of a big fish rather than prevention of crime.

I knew bradley from sunny saughton prison when he was on remand in D hall and he was respected in that hall but the thing is brad was a good kid and i spoke to him a lot and me being a fifer didnt bother him either lol he was one hard mfer but i ended up getting sentenced and moved to polmont young offenders and when i heard he died i was shocked because his days of crime was well and truly over and casuals died a long time ago.The csc were a scary mob and i remember when they used to sit at the bridge waiting for us celtic fans to appear and they would attack us those were crazy days,and i remember one time i was in edinburgh on a football day and hibs were playing rangers and the rangers casuals were shouting at the hibs young team and brad threw a brick at yhis guy and i remember this guy as olif he was standing next to me right now,5'10" beard brown hair with a rangers scarf on and black burberry jacket and jeans and brad threw that brick like a pro shot putt athlete and that brick went through the air like a missile and hit the guy right in the nose and he crumbled,it was the weirdest sound ive ever heard in my life and the guy was out cold and the cops appeared from nowhere and brad ran like usain bolt and got away.not just a good boxer eh

Firstly i am not for a second saying Bradly was a criminal, or that he deserved this. I met him on a few ocassions, through boxing shows. And he was a really good guy. But you cannot blame the police for this. People are always looking to blame someone for whatever. And the police always seem to be the target. Blame the people who were involved in crime. From the guy who did it, guy who ordered it. And the guys who all had the falling out. If they all stayed away from crime, it wouldnt have happend.

Them swine bags knew of the warning concerning this young man life. Family should push for a deeper inquiry into this. Then sue the bastards for negligence.

Bradley was one of a kind I’ve watched a tv documentary’s on him very much Respected all over Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 A very tough fella who had changed his life around and then this corner boy takes his life for the sake of a few grand,, I’m not very happy about the cops not telling him his life was in danger The most senseless murder ever ,, Bradley will always be remembered for the good stuff he did for a lot of people in his area,, He was doing well for himself and his daughter and wife who will never forget him,, Rest in peace Bradley Walsh you legend never be forgotten,,
