La Starza had to have surgery on his arms because of blood clots from Marciano's punishment. Many of today's fighters are head hunters...they don't get some of the most basic things of the game. It wasn't a coincidence that people like Bernard Hopkins and Roberto Duran could remain competitive for so long...even George Foreman, who once talked about the importance of jabbing a guy's chest in order to inhibit his jab over the duration of a fight. Rocky Marciano didn't give a damn. He'd punch your shins if he had too to slow you down. Unbelievable men...all of them! 🥊🥊
