Tommy Hearns fought everybody. Didn't duck nobody. He instilled fear and concern in his opponents; especially when he was a freak of nature at Welterweight. It was unheard of at the time in the late 70s and early 80s to see a Welterweight at 6'1", 78" Reach, and a could throw every punch in the book with KO written on it. Mainly that devastating right hand. As a teen and later a young adult, I always looked forward to a Hearns fight. Action packed and exciting! The Showdown against SRL (9/16/81) and The Fight against Hagler (4/15/85) are my favorites but I also enjoyed his matches against Duran & Benitez too.
