Skip rope, try and do a bare minimum of 100 push up daily, jumping jacks, light heavy bag punching while running in place drills and light front , side rear, and bent over shoulder dumbell excercises with light dumb bell to exhaust ing the muscle will give you better shoulders than the average guy minus the injuries. Hey man. I don't know if you read these, but I just wanted to write in my experience. I've been boxing for a little over a year now, and I'm really starting to kick up the intensity and intelligence of my training. I saw this and thought I would give it a try, seeing as arms tiring during long sparring sessions has been a problem for me in the past. The first time I attempted this set, I just couldn't do it. I couldn't go longer than 5 minutes with the 10 lb bells. I had to drop every set to 5 minutes, besides the jump rope. I don't know if it was just a mental block or legit hitting a wall with my physical conditioning, but I didn't have it in me to go on. That was a month ago. Today, I finally got through every bit of this set and kept up the most intensity I could. Worked in some combos at the lighter weights as well. Thank you for setting the bar high and giving me a level of strength and conditioning to reach. Following this has given me a big boost in confidence and helped solve a problem of mine. formula: (for y'all newer folks who can't do this yet/ppl who don't have a place to jump rope, here is the formula to build your workouts off of :) ) warm up (2x) punching drop set (same time per round, lower weight, speed increases per set) shadow boxing with no weight, time= 3/5x focus on form (x=time per round of drop set)

I think it's terrible advice to tell people to practice punching with heavy weight. You're going to wreck your punching form and establish bad habits for the minor gain you'll get... That's why the make things like egg weights that don't get to a heavy weight. Many coaches/fighters that have the credentials to back up their claims also say the same thing. If this is all it takes, why don't we see professional boxers shadow boxing with 30 lb weights lmfao.

i like this guy. if you go to his homepage you will read this: "You can be strong, you can be tough, but what good is all of that if you forget to be kind? The toughest fight one can face is showing love." that's a philosophy of strength i can get behind.

Hi, this is a great workout. I am 51 and for about 5 days have been doing this with 1.5kg dumbbells, can't do the ten minutes just 7/8 minutes each. I have a couple of questions. How many times a week should you do this without? Plus what kind of diet do eat to get wripped? When you throw a hook, should the palm be facing myself or towards the floor? Appreciate anyone's answers to them. Thanks you for the video.

Hey, new subscriber here. Just found your vids like 2 days ago and it’s a gold mine. Had a pretty severe leg injury almost 10 years ago & thought I’d have to give up training but ur vids are helping me relearn my footwork, etc. Thanks man. All the best.

The right uppercut is lingering and dropping on the return as if you are wondering what do I do next. After the uppercut follow with a left jab, or get into a defensive stance. Uppercuts leave the chin wide open for a left hook or straight right hand if the opponent predicts it, vice versa for southpaws. Your workout is amazing.

Whats holding your dumbbells are Your Biceps. Gravity is pulling the dumbbells down and your biceps are keeping them up. Bands will work your punching strength because of the Direction of Resistant. (Opposite position Loading)
