This guy is crazy fast. High energy fast reflex muscles. Good info here guys. To the people asking its a uppercut bag at least that's what we call it at our gym.

I love how many people comment "This guy doesn't have power at all lol!" For his weight class, I am sure he has suffecient power and not to mention speed to easily overdo his opponents. Not all boxers are "nukers", some rely on speed and skill rather than an overpowering punch. But still, I place my hand over my chest when I say that this guy, would most likely knock my mouthpiece and teeth clean down my throat... And second, Yeah his guard is lousy. Guarding against a bag is rarely important ( Unless you... You know, get beaten by bags ) He is teaching us about Punch Speed and Power. He is giving us tips. Tips that I once laughed at, but now keep in my mind every single day. I am a lightweight, but I realized that my problem was I relied too much on my punching power, rather than getting out fast punches. Thanks to this video, I managed to get my speed up a few notches, but I got much to learn still. But to me thats what keeps me boxing and getting into that ring. It's to prove to myself that through hard work, dedication and the will to learn, I can overcome not only my opponents, but myself and my limits.

Felkhan Whiteball Well how you guard in practice is how you will do it in a real fight, so this guy would be knocked out in a minute or less.

.... pause the video as he throws his jab. Do you see his right hand draw back exposing his chin. This is known as the bow and arrow effect. Keep your right hand on your chin as you throw the jab. Check out Tripple V boxing. He really knows his stuff.

Good offensive style. His form, as being offensive, is excellent. He tends to throw his rear hand a little far back while striking, however. While this affords extra leverage and striking speed, it leaves one open to a sneaky counterattack from a slippery defender. Just make sure those inside hooks to the body land clean! :)

I can't put my finger on it, but the way this guy moves and punches just seems really awkward. Maybe it's just his body type and athleticism. He has ability and obvious skill, but some things just seem off. A lot of his movements seem far too exaggerated, he leaves his chin up a lot, and his balance isn't the best. He's also just really jerky and not very relaxed. I'm not trying to be a keyboard warrior or act like I'm better than him. These are just my observations and I could be mistaken.

This is a normal bag, it depends on what you put in it (regarding the weight question). This one is pretty good for uppercuts as it lets you trow the punch from beneath it. If you want power increase, aim for a heavier bag, and believe it or not, your power will come mostly from your legs. I would advice you to train explosive strength. Ask your teacher about olympic weightlifting techniques (deadlift, clean & jerk, etc). That will give you power and speed for sure!

He has this thing where when he throws his right hand, he brings it back like he's celebrating or admiring his work. A Pro Fighter like myself will time that because for a spit second he's defenseless by not bringing this right hand back. He's wide open for a left hook.
