You are truly a casual, biased fan. You probably started watching boxing when Pacman became a champion. PBF knocked out his opponents with ease. On top of that, he had defense, skills, and power. He was the only fighter during that time with the complete package. It was either RJJ or PBF. Floyd's hands were brittle and that took away his KO power but not his skills. He still easily beat almost every boxer that was in front of him. The delay in the Pacman fight was on Pacman. Freddie Roach said it was as well. Floyd was not in his prime when he beat Pacman or Canelo, but he beat them easily. The same thing with Dela Hoya. You're a fanboy and that's alright but don't act like you know boxing. Floyd beat Pac and Canelo with bad hands and a banged shoulder. He still has his money and senses. He doing great for himself.@@roodine100

I remember this, my pops; rip wud talk about The Black Mamba, but seeing Chavez drop and take the punishment moving forward and answering what wud drop the avg man, well clearly the word Legacy comes from such expertise.

JJC was a demolishing machine round to round ~ His fierce outboxing and skills made him a lethal boxer hard to hit ~ He sustained so much punishment and would come back with same fierceness - I'm amazed and proud that Mexico had such elite boxer

I admired how Roger Mayweather opologized for the punch after the bell, and Julio Chavez accepted his opology. True sportsmanship.

Love this! Chavez was mine and my grandpas favorite fighter this brought me back to the good old days watching with him Here in Albuquerque. Miss you Gramps! Great war's!! its ironic that Mayweather jr single handedly killed boxing when he changed to money may. Used the 12 rds to his advantage to hit and not be hit going all 12 rds and making the public think you were a nobody in boxing if you took a loss. All the greatest fighters in boxing have lost! Even pretty boy Floyd when he changed his name to money Mayweather! Took HBO out of business and now showtime.

Mayweather was a dirty fighter. Watching him cheat against Pernell Whitaker was disgusting.

Cool video I subscribed! I'm 58 years old so I love the generation that was in my prime! The fighters today have nothing on the old school fighters! Peace ✌️

I must say ,the two greatest fighters in the history of boxing are holeo cazar Chavez ,and Floyd Mayweather Jr the difference is Mayweather wins backward movement ,Chavez wins all moving forward. Roger was a great fighter as well ,in a class with all great fighters. 🙏 Roger ,rest in peace.

Julio started using drugs like 2 years before of his first lost. This man was unbeatable. If he would have retired when he had 89-0, he maybe would have been the first in the rank in pound4pound in all time boxing history. Chavez has been called the best mexica fighter of all time and it's super misleading by a lot of expert, he is one of the best fighter of all time not only in Mexico, it was for the whole world. He had chin, stamina, defense, and he put a nonstop pressure to obliterate any fighter, he was a real machine, he can win any fight in any era, no matter for that beast. He fought against 27 world champions. In my opinion is the best second boxer of all time behind Sugar Ray Robinson. Sugar Ray Robinson had a record of 129 and 1 before he lost to Randy Turpin and the first time he retired at the age of 32 years old he had 132-3.

boxing is funny because its often internal pain and struggle that gets them into the ring and motivates their success, but if they let they pain eat them instead of dealing with it and growing with it and evolving it will eventually kill them

FYI: Chavez first displayed his talents in the U.S. v. (Not Thee) Jerry Lewis at the Memorial Stadium in Sacramento. Two more fights at the venerable Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA followed prior to his breakout win v. "Azabache" Martinez (also at "the Olympic"), followed by Ruben Castillo (ditto!) and Roger Mayweather in Vegas.

Man...I followed the REAL boxer/champion . So when I was lil all I was trying to be was like Julio Caesar Chavez ...even though I'm half African American ....he still caught my eye for the simple fact people was always tell ing him what he can't do....the first human togo against the grade and still came out successful .. he made me believe that there's nothing that can't be done ...just stay focus ..and dig...dig real deep. The man was the one most under rated and wild fighter I've ever seen and I needed to be that..JULIO CEASAR CHAVEZ HIS MFN PROPS...3 DECADES 3 DIFFERENT WEIGHT CLASSES...AND 3 OR 4 TITLES...DUDE JULIO IS THE MF MAN!!!! AND IF YOU CANT SEE THAT ....THEN PUT ON GLASSES AND WATCH THIS GUYS BOUTS!!! HE WAS THE MEXICAN MF TOO ME !!! VIVA MEXICO!!
