The question remains. If the Viet Nam war didn't happen and great potential boxers didn't die so only weak men remained. Would Cassius Clay still be a great boxer or just a footnote on someone else's rise to fame? Remember, the "Fight of the century" Clay vs Frazier was in 1971. Frazier had tried to join the Army four times, and was refused each time for being too old, too injured and with intellectual impairments that prevented him from serving. That was Clays most challening opponent. An old, dumb and weak figher at the end of his career. And Clay lost.

Pacquiao, like Tyson, was such a scary dude, I often forget like Tyson he is now old, and unlike Tyson, Pacquiao was always a tiny guy. Dang he looks micro-sized in this fight. And, he had great muscle definition for such a small skinny guy. He was sort of like a small Bruce Lee.

Never bet on the white guy (unless his opponent is near 60 years old).

To whoever uploaded this video, please get your facts correct. He was not Muhammad Ali at that time as he had not yet converted. He was, and the history books will show he was Cassius Clay.

the era of manny and the the mexican greats are probably the most exhilirating fights of the decade. no one cares that they win or lose. all they know is its gonna be a FIGHT. and a fight it was.

What match was it where Ali just shuffled around the ring and let a nobody win on points just so Ali could pocket $20M? Oh, wait. That wasn’t Ali. Some guy named Mike.

the way Vitali could intercept with his jab, was second to none. And I have no idea how anyone let this fight go on as long as it did. Briggs never protected himself once.

stop censoring basic words. The word "stabbed" is not a bad word. Its a standard word with meaning. You can't censor every word that has any association with violence. Saying a word that describes violence doesn't cause violence, you are doing nothing by censoring stab

Duran visibly had a layer of softness covering his body. With so much on the line, I expect a fighter to have chiseled, defined muscle tone, none of which Duran possessed here.
