Firstly, WOW, I did not realize how dirty Sapp was lol a man of that size & that amount of gear 💉 punching opponents on the ground, pushing them out of the ring & hitting after the bell is borderline attempted murder, that’s insane.. Groenhart did what he was supposed to do. Grigorian just stopped and walked away without the ref stopping the fight or the bell being rung. Of course he's going to get knocked out for doing something so stupid. I saw that fight live and I still don't really know why he just turned around and walked away.

It has less to do with the technicality of it and more to do with the sportsmanship of it, or lack thereof in this case. Regardless of Grigorian's reason for turning around, only a dishonorable punk would attack in that situation

The shot he took before likely stunned him and he heard ringing in his ear, probably had a gauge on the time left and thought the bell was ringing. It’d happened to me sparring before, got my bell rung so hard walking into a shot I couldn’t tell the guy on the middle from the 4 other guys standing around him 🤣

Long story short he was likely basically out on his feet after shot number one and turned around only to receive a KO punch
