MORE OF THESE PLEASE. So much to learn from this video, take note of Bivol's warm up guys. Don't just jump straight in, this is what world class fighters do to get their bodies ready for the workout.
@sWrd_Master5 ай бұрын
One thing I've noticed about Bivol's build is that he doesnt have the skinny legs that a lot of Boxers have. His legs look similar to that of an MMA fighter. It's because of his use of all the in and out movement, his legs are strong and stable from all of the footwork conditioning he does. No wonder he darts in and out so easily.
@ManvasPachenko2 ай бұрын
I've always put a lot of emphasis on footwork. Some days, I don't throw a single punch. Instead, for round after round, I move about the ring practicing footwork. Cutting the ring, pivots and rotations. The next day, my calf, hamstrings and butt muscles are sore. So I know I've worked well. As you said, it keeps your legs in proportion to your body. Look at Lomachenko. Another guy who dedicates a lot of work to his footwork. He too, like Bivol, has good leg to body proportion.

Hey guys, can anyone tell me why he has the punch output/ frequency that he does on the heavybag? To me it seems surprisingly low in both volume and intensity. I wonder if i perceive wrong the intensity, and what the reasoning is anyways. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate an explaination!
@Diablo-33235 ай бұрын
Soviet/Russian Style boxing, one of the best boxing styles around. Those fighters are extremely difficult to spar with, because they generate solid power whilst being extremely mobile. They can powerful blows without being hit due to their footwork, for boxing purists it's a sight to behold but most people find it boring.
@juridittrich63965 ай бұрын
@@Diablo-3323 that doesn't answer my question at all, does it?
@andridj5 ай бұрын
Probably because it’s closer to fight day, so he tapers off the intensity on the bags to focus on sparring and recovery. Another possibility is, he went easy on the bags on the days of intense sparring so he can recover enough for next day’s training.

Surprised to see no strength training. I sense his sparring partners are hard ofc but would of been good to see him push weight in this. It’s Beterbiev. As I feel both have same IQ, bivol can cancel out Beterbiev strength if he adds serious strength to his camp

Absolutely. Artur does a lot of strength work. The quality of sparring partners in U.A.E is also a big question.
