Boy George was so underated. Because of his image, which I personally found endearing, most people never really LISTENED to his lyrics. Twenty years later I'd have friends pull out some of my old vinyl and read the lyrics, then exclaim that they had no idea how profound they were.

Heard it on the radio today, did'nt know what it was called though but just had to find it, its took me an hour. Amazing track and love it when the drums come in. And yes i'm straight and i still like boy george! People who hate because of sexuality are sooo lacking spiritually, and maybe also hiding something in my opinion!!!
One of the best songs ever written and performed. George's voice is butter, rich and creamy lol

This song is pure genius. I don't know why I didn't like it at the time. I love the dramatic Helen Terry solo in the middle and the Spandau Ballet instrumental bit near the end. It's so random so it works. Also, you can hear the ache in George's voice. Beautiful all around.

@TheIntruders Well, George *has* admitted that many of his songs were directly inspired by his relationship with Jon. That's what happens when you're a songwriter in love. And when your relationship is as turbulent as theirs was, some angst is bound to make it into the songs, even the joyful ones.

Yes, this trulyl is A MASTERPIECE considering that this video was done without using any CGI. I think this is the most unique and one-of-a-kind music videos ever seen on MTV. I luv the costume & the moving chair or rig that Boy George is sitting on & pulling him backwards & sideways. And yes, the orchestra with the harpist at the end. We should consider ourselves lucky that this artist came in our time. I'm sure BG knows there are so many people loving him - including me. God bless u, BG!
