First time I ever bludged high school was when Culture Club came to Adelaide, South Australia. Loved George but then really went off him for many years. But we've all grown and I'm starting to like him again after this interview. He said some really wise things here.

I always say that most people react rather than respond... and that responsibility is just the "ability to respond" (rather than react). Great interview George, thank you!

Amazing to watch him on this channel. Boy George is besides a member of Culture Club one of the best DJs I have ever experienced in a club in Amsterdam, right after he got out of jail. Till today still one of the best sets I have ever experienced, and I have been to hundreds of them.

Interesting conversation. He always mentions Madonna in his interviews! I've always thought that fundamentally they're quite similar people.. They're both complex personalities who came from large, Catholic families, both wanted public adoration and then created it for themselves on a large scale only to discover that fame can never fill that internal void.

When I grew up in the early 80s. I have to admit that I found him disturbing as an 8 or 9 year old. These interviews keep changing my opinion or my perception of people. Nice one George O'Dowd!
@Vampirebear1317 сағат бұрын
I'm almost George's age & back in school, wanted to be just like him & I'm glad he seems to be "in a good place". But I think it's a shame he's still brainwashed into believing we Republicans, including President Trump, are anti-gay. About %98.9 of my family are Republicans & have no interest in a person's sexuality & Trump is the same way. For example, Donald Trump Jr. invited Dave Rubin to dinner at Mar-a-lago & when Dave introduced his husband (also named Dave) to President Trump, he said that's great. Also I'm lifelong clean & sober despite having a life that makes George's life sound like he had it easy. IMHO.

Meet the real George BEHIND THE SPOT LIGHT! This video should be called. MAN GEORGE !!! Ask him if he forgave me, for 🤬 against the bible and Jesus and God. Back in 2016. He's so DIFFERENT in front of the spotlight!

Everyone is addicted to something? Is that clickbait? I am addicted to oxygen and water and my wife. Not in that order. Its a great attention grapping nonsense headline

Sorry George, I’m sure you get it lol. My mantra is, everyone’s got 'Stuff' it’s a great equaliser. Nice pod guys.

As much as I respect all he is saying , he is definitely a difficult Diva in public. Whenever he is photographed in the street he looks angry and like he doesn't want to be approached and definitely moody. So I am not sure he is a nice person to approach, unless youre a fan perhaps and then you might get a photo or autograph.
@CultureClubHistory4 сағат бұрын
Difficult Diva in public...🤔 Yeah how dare George not like having his privacy invaded by over the top paparazzi who are out to make a quick buck, how dare George not stop and smile & do a full photo shoot for them ....🤦🏼♂️ There’s countless videos online of George being nothing but kind to people on the street... George will talk to anyone as long as it’s respectful.... if he was being a diva he sure as hell wouldn’t be travelling around London on public transport....
@Dion_MustardСағат бұрын
@CultureClubHistory yes , points taken, but even when he is meeting fans in the street , he acts like he is in a rush .all celebs are the same. The word is Ego.
@felicitydeikos525012 сағат бұрын
Why does he keep talking about Astrology? It doesn't have any true meaning! I'm a Gemini but, I don't " feel it" Suns sign have no literal meaning in life! God is the creator and incharge of everything! If you want to have a loving relationship, you need to begin with God, since he's the creator of love. Sun signs have nothing to do with a character of a human.
@absta10012 сағат бұрын
you are completely incorrect my dear. Your ruling planet affects you in more ways then you will understand as it seems you’ve completely dismissed this ancient esoteric science from your life. At least you believe in God. 🙏🏻
