Boy George, to me, has always come across as EXTRAORDINARILY intelligent and, on the emotional intelligence scale, a genius. And obviously, one of the best voices ever to be heard. Love all these qualities about him.

Thank you! It was between bands like Spandau Ballet & Duran Duran, and singers like Boy George - certainly Bowie - that inspired me to pursue singing and songwriting! In Northern California (USA), our club was One Step Beyond, where my little band Bolero got to open for Men Without Hats, Flock of Seagulls and Pseudo Echo. Later work with the Santana brothers. Looking for my 'third act' now!

How's this for a coincidence? This afternoon I heard Guy tell his David Bowie story on this episode of the podcast, then tonight I heard him tell the exact same story (plus an extra detail about a scarf that Bowie wasn't wearing) on a rerun of the Australian music trivia show Spicks and Specks!

Absolute purgatory, trying to watch this with adverts interrupting it literally every 30 seconds. Ridiculous.

I agree. Listen to the podcast, rather than on utube. Google it.
