Once upon a time, in 1984/85, during an interview with Barbara Walters, Boy George did say he was bisexual. If I remember correctly, at the time, that was the first time since the immense fame with Culture Club, that he'd publicly said anything about his sexuality, and I think bisexuality was seen as slightly less controversial, slightly more acceptable, than saying he was gay. Which he is.
