At first I thought ML was an idiot, but then I had to take into account that she was suffering with extremely deep pain of loss, extremely deep guilt that she was the cause of that loss, and severe trauma that had been buried and overshadowed with the realization that the only person who had cared about what had been done to her was the one who had died because of her. Whew! With all that there was no other way she could have been other than someone whose walls of protection started crumbling as she continued to receive hit after hit after hit. There is no wonder that she would find it hard to believe a man 6 years her junior could actually be in love with her. Especially after she opens up to it, uh oh, here comes some more hits. Now I see her as one brave chic and although my heart aches for her I admire her tremendously. Really happy the obstacles hampering her budding relationship have been removed so she and her love could have a wedding, but I’m on edge regarding what appears to be another hit at the end. Finally, kudos to my girl: even though I don’t like it that Wang Ge Ge is the “bad” girl here I have to give her her props. She did a good job. And…she’s still one of my most favorite actresses🤭 Does it sound like I think this is a pretty good film? Well, I do think there should be a part 2 with some explanations about former boyfriend.
