My dad cheated on my mom with TWO other women at the same time and got both of them pregnant (poppa was a rolling boulder, not just a rolling stone) and they did divorce. My mother has never stood in the way of my having a relationship with my sisters, but they never set foot in the house we shared and my father was never crazy enough to ask my mother to anything for them; she would have killed him. Anyone calling the second OP petty has never experienced the pain of that kind of betrayal. THIS is it why you have to be so careful with who you choose to have children with. Who you CHOOSE to have children with is the biggest, most important decision, with the most extreme consequences you will make in your entire life. Period. You are PERMANENTLY tying your life to theirs until the day you die and guaranteeing you will be forced to interact with them for at least the first 18 years, longer if they have kids. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you should have kids with them. JUST BECAUSE YOU LOVE SOMEONE DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD HAVE KIDS WITH THEM, JUST BECAUSE YOU LOVE SOMEONE THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY WILL MAKE A GOOD PARENT. You HAVE carefully consider all of your partners flaws and think about whether they will actually make a good parent because they will NOT magically change personalities the second they have a child. If they are lazy, irresponsible, selfish etc. now that will NOT change. Having a bad or uninterested parent will screw your child up for life. They will carry those scars with them and it will affect them for the rest of their life. And that will be on you. It will be your fault for deciding to have children with someone just because you love them without actually considering if they would make a good parent. Having kids is a very serious and the most life changing decision you will make in your life. And you're an idiot if you make it based solely off of love and emotions instead of logic. You OWE it to your future kids to give them the best life they can possibly have and the best parents they can possibly have. Please don't make this decision lightly. Don't have kids with someone who is lazy or a deadbeat or selfish or whom you haven't known for very long. This isn't even mentioning the fact that you are tying your genetic material to theirs for all of eternity. Your descendants will always carry their DNA. Please think carefully. ❤

Story 2: Dad is delusional
@awseven1144 Жыл бұрын
In the first story update, I don’t believe he’s feels guilty or that he loved that other woman. His ego is wounded because for once he was on the receiving end of the betrayal. Him reaching out to OP was essentially love bombing to make her go “Aw he does care” and have her come back so he can mooch and heal his wounded pride. He got what he deserved.

How does someone pay anything while they're in jail? Are they given a job while in jail?

They are not given a job, but they can earn the right to have a job.

After questioning S#1 ' s authenticity, I was convinced and OP became my Hero, she deserves a place among The Princesses of Power with Catra and She-Ra ! I'll write to Netflix !

1. I feel like towards the end she was basking in his misery a little too much.

COULDN'T CARE LESS. IT'S COULDN'T CARE LESS. Jesus it is so fucking annoying when people say it wrong, saying you could care less doesn't mean anything! Saying you COULDN'T care less means that it is not possible to care any less than you currently do, and the only conceivable point at which it is physically impossible to care less is when you don't care at all, because you can't care less than not at all. Get it right, people, for fuck's sake.

"I thought I'd won the lottery. He tells me about his _three_ children and their mothers..." [record scratch]...WHAT?? That's winning the boyfriend lottery? On what planet? So many red flags it should have looked like a parade.

Listening to the first story and man, it really shouldn't shock me how often I hear stories that sound like they could be my son's sperm donor but, here I am shocked lol.

Story 1: Neat revenge, but if you get together with a deadbeat guy who has 3 different children with 3 different mothers, you absolutely know what you're getting into.

Yeah, I'm struggling to find sympathy for OP, although I'm loving her revenge story. The one I'm really cheering for is the first ex, who finally got child support from that worthless conkwocket.
@drippystaff56572 жыл бұрын
Yep 100%, she doesn't recognise the red flags. I also found it quite intresting when she said she got with this guy straight after her 12 year relationship ended. Either she's silly getting into a relationship straight after her 12 year one ended. Or she left her ex for this guy. If that's the case I have 0 sympathy for her.
@PrincessQ-fj9ly2 жыл бұрын
I slightly disagree, because we're looking at her story with hindsight. I'm not saying she shouldn't have noticed the red flags. It's just........usually, when we fall in love and are in the honeymoon phase, we tend to ignore the red flags. I do agree with OP's revenge being awesome.

OP has the man judging observation skills of Hellen Keller truly my god. I can’t wait for the next post when it turns out she’s dating DB cooper; or the Zodiac killer.

I hate tennis shoes, so if my dead-beat dad forgot my bday then sent me some Jordans I'd be even more pissed because clearly he doesn't know me at all.

Revenge stories are my drug of choice. The more destructive the revenge, the greater the high.

No way I go out with someone and not do a background check on any BF. She should have done that from the start. Edit: omg she’s awesome! 😂😂😂 this definitely is great payback for that loser.

Story 2: if Dad wants the half brother to go so bad he can pay for him, simple as that. OP shouldn't have to shell out hundreds of dollars so a kid who isn't hers can go to Disneyland. Also, cut off the friends who said you're the AH, that doesn't make any sense and they aren't your friends

I've been that dude that (in my case) almost got hit taking care of a kid that wasn't mine. DNA doesn't lie.
@lapsedgoth Жыл бұрын
Story 2: this would have been avoidable if OP had told ex upfront that they were taking the kiddo to Disneyland. OP isn't an ahole, maybe a bit inconsiderate for leaving kiddo's dad out of the loop. I get that OP is primary custody, but I don't know that I'd want to wait till the last minute to tell him "oh yeah I'm taking our kid away for a vacation just us." Tell Ex it's happening, and that gives him an opportunity to help his kiddo through the disappointment of not being able to go with a half sibling on vacation.

Cannabis is legal in many states. No need to smuggle it. States where recreational marijuana is legal: Colorado Washington Alaska Oregon Washington, D.C. California Maine Massachusetts Nevada Michigan Vermont Guam Illinois Arizona Montana New Jersey New York Virginia New Mexico Connecticut

@@stephanien6237 yeah but he's smuggling to states where it's illegal. Couldn't care less but dude is a drug trafficker by definition. Probably slang on the dn. I'm in LA, I know weed is mostly legal everywhere now
