This is a lot more than just a "twinge" of cringe. The unnecessarily dramatic facial expressions really reach down deep into the pits of your soul, forcefully pulling away all comfort you thought you had and leaving nothing behind but an inescapable feeling that something extremely awkward is about to happen... Please do not date people who make you feel like shit FOR REALS. I just got out of a 4 year relationship and its crazy how I thought I could never live without him while we were together, and how much more calm and peaceful I feel day to day now. I didn't realize how much he was making me feel like shit and anxious. It still hurts but yall LOVE YOURSELF FIRST. Be brave enough to admit something isn't working and move on. You deserve so much happiness and love!
@NorthernGreenEyes2 жыл бұрын
I'm so proud of you! You're very strong and brave 💪😌 I realized something wasn't right a few yrs ago then just about a year ago I've been reading more about emotionally abusive relationships plus everytime I'm around him my anxiety goes from 0-50 in no time and I havevto get away to recharge then he'll get irritated with me. My mind, body and soul are telling me to RUN but I feel trapped sometimes. I'm trying, but we have kids together, it's been 16yrs so all my stuff is here, etc I have to have a really well thought out plan first before I jump the gun, though. I know he'll try to take the kids, make me look unstable again or some sh*t. I don't want to be on my deathbed thinking of all the people, places and things I never got to meet, visit, etc. Ya know?

@@NorthernGreenEyes i hear you. I honestly could have kept living in the familiarity even though it was so damaging, probably indefinitely. I am grateful he left. He was such a monster to me at times I thought I just deserved it though. Please focus on yourself and your babies and GET OUT! Honestly, I lucked out with my boyfriend. We have very similar views, he is educated on women's anatomy, and he's willing to learn anything he doesn't know. He's not homophobic or transphobic, and he supports my asexuality completely, which is really cool. I love him with all my heart, and I'm so glad he's not secretly shitty or anything and didn't change for the worse after we started dating.
