@Michael Quaid If you're talking about the 'balls out in the spa' thing, that was proven false. The lady did not record any trans folk nor did she show anyone in the spa and was just yelling and the store owner confirms that the usual trans clients weren't even there that day. There was an entire article written on this.

That teacher period POV made me SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I had an amazing history teacher who was like, in his 70s, and he was very good at handling these situations and would always be strict with the boys about not degrading or disrespecting the girls. I remember I needed a pad (I bled through my pants) on my FIRST DAY IN HIS CLASS, and when everyone went to lunch, he called me to his desk, and he looked up from his stack of papers to say "hey, you've got a red stain on your pants, it's not really noticable but would you like a sweatshirt?" And I nodded my head. He pulled one out of a drawer filled with other spare clothes, and then also pulled out a plastic bag with all different types/sizes of pads & tampons. He offered me some, and I thanked him. He said "It's okay, I have 9 daughters. I've been doing this for awhile" and he smiled before returning to his papers. As I opened his door to leave, he said "and drink some water & eat something!" I felt so safe and respected, it was really nice and to this day he's still my favorite teacher I ever had. Edit: yes, 9 daughters. They were all grown at the time of this story. He had an introduction powerpoint during the first week of school where he showed us his daughters and his grandkids, and his wife, and his dogs! It was really cute! This teacher was a old fashioned family man. I always liked him because even though he was traditional, he was always very open-minded and accepting of the changing times :) I wish more older people like him existed!

Those fathers are the ones who create problems and then at the same time trying to "prevent" said problems. You let your sons mess around with girls but at the same time forbid your daughters doing the same. The reason why you forbid your daughters doing the same is because other fathers let their sons mess around with girls. But at the same time, those other fathers forbid their daughters messing around with boys, because you let your sons messing around with girls. It's like a circle that never ends because of hypocrisy and stupidity.

What annoyed me about the period TikTok (among other things) was that the weird “teacher” offered both Tylenol and Ibuprofen for cramps. No! A teacher cannot provide medication of any kind to a student, even over the counter drugs. If he doesn’t get fired for being a creep, he will for that.

Thats what I said! Im re-watching this in the hospital and verbally expressed how weird it was. She didn't even express any cramps, and a change of pants was REALLY weird to. About me being in the hospital, not even the nurses can give me anything without my permission and my mothers permission, and of course the need for it given by a doctor. Even if these medications are normal to be given during random colds, that is not okay to be given by some random teacher!

One time I got my period in Elementary school. Bell ringed and everyone was going to recess, but I stayed because everything was coated in blood. Teacher came over and told me to go with the other kids outside. I stood up, she saw the blood. She asked me if I wanted to go home for the day, I nodded. She called the office who called my parents. My teacher grabbed my winter coat and handed it to me. I tied it around my waist and left as soon as my parent showed up. She then had the janitor come in and clean up the blood on my chair. My teacher didn’t make a big deal about it, she understood I was embarrassed, so didn’t talk about it. She helped me out the best she could, and apparently covered for me when my friend asked where I was by saying that I had a dentist appointment, so had to leave. That’s how you help people on their period. Also, you can’t bring medication of any kind to school (at least mine) without permission. You also can’t just give people you hardly know medicine, because you don’t know if they could have an adverse reaction to it. That’s just irresponsible.

But if one of those male teachers kept winking at me like that i would be terrified. Also, he gave the 'student' medication for period cramps. Even schools themselves aren't allowed to pass around any kind of medication unless we bring an unopened bottle from home with a slip from our parents (which the bottle cant leave the nurse's office until either the end of the year or our primary guardian comes to pick it up), its very much illegal for any teacher to give a student medicine from their personal supply. @@McJusti it is highly debatable to the point of being untrue that parents can prevent their child from becoming a sexual predator. Yes, there are many predators that have a history that seems to provide an explanation for how they came to be so vile. But there are many other people who are predators who do not have the backstory to explain it. Likewise, there are many people who’ve been raised by very sadistic parents and yet they have not become predators. So while there is a correlation of sorts, it does not amount to causation.

oh my god I was watching this video picture in picture so I was more or less just listening to it. when the period one came up, I literally thought "oh that's kind of nice, for girls to fantasize about a boyfriend who is very understanding and patient and accommodating for their periods". but then Chad does that "at what point in the process did you not take issue with" and then fucking reveals that HES SUPPOSED TO BE OUR TEACHER?????? AND HE WAS FUCKING WINKING AND SMIRKING THE WHOLE TIME?????? the whiplash that gave me was unreal also that "my daughter is never allowed to even think about sex because if shes a slut i will beat her, but my son can fuck and exploit as many women as he wants" trope from dad makes me genuinely angry. like it fucking puts me in a bad mood.

My first thought at this double standard is always that, even though they ALWAYS deny it - men know. They know how they treat women like shit. They know all about the terrible things they do to them, how little respect they have for them and what they think about and how they act with them. The same reason theyre offended if a bro dates their sister. It is completely fine to violate women and treat them like shit - as long as they are not related to them. These guys make me sick to my stomach.
@madi7001

YES! I was looking for this comment. That’s totally the root of it. These guys don’t care if their son is having sex with their girlfriend because they’re not related to that girl. If they really “cared” about all women the way they claim to “care” about their daughters, they would be waiting with a shotgun when their son brings home a girlfriend too. But apparently those women don’t matter because they’re not related to them… 😒

My dad used to “joke” about threatening boys with shotguns when I was a kid. Yet, when I brought a boy around the house and they mentioned anything about bikes, computers, or cars, my dad was like putty in their hands. The guy wouldn’t even be someone I was interested in, but if they mentioned any of those topics my dad would hold them hostage for at least half and hour to brag about his toys. I would try to help save them from his ramblings, but there’s only so much I could do.

I also still wasn’t sure about my sexuality at the time, so all my friends that were girls were just friends (with a possible secret crush). I lowkey grew up on some cult shit too, was talking to a friend I'd mentioned plenty of times before. We always stayed overnight at a mutual friends. I go Once to his place, not even overnight. Just fell asleep for few hrs too late. Rushed back home. For 2 months this bitch was screaming her head off that I was a whoring with random old men every night. It got worse daily. Even while 100 avoiding for safety I was in a way worse way. I ended up telling him about it & they were 100 like we wanna meet him for a little bit. I tried with everything for it to not happen.. but it was about to be 40+ ppl (fam) telling me what to do with my body & not believing me prolly. Regardless, I clearly was gonna be way worse off. And him very likely accused of r*pe. Mind you hes a dark black man, and only a year older than me. We were close but not even tight yet, like I ain't even get a chance to open up as a friend & now his life could possibly be ruined. We pass that now but fuck I felt so guilty.
