I’m glad that I shared my story because now I can hear what other people think. All of the voices, are just helping me understand everything a lot more. I swept it under the rug for so long because everyone just blamed me. I don’t mind accepting the blame but really…. How was it my fault that dude tried to kill me and killed my Cuzzo . Even after I went to see him, if someone did that to u, u would be scared to death and do anything he tells you to. On top of that he was my first love and was there for me when no one else wasn’t. Everyone who’s mad that I made this interview wasn’t there for me or my cousin !!!!!!!!! I was trying to help him when he had no where to go never meant for him to get hurt or even die. Then I also tried to understand my ex and why he did what he did. We were all young but he was 18 and my cousin was 21 I was the only child for real. To hear you guys stand up for me and tell me that it’s not my fault really brings some healing and peace to me. I’ve blamed myself long enough and honestly I still do. Just like when I was a baby and older people were touching me inappropriately. I was just trying to understand it all , by going to go visit him. Trying to get answers. To which I never got. Until this day he still can’t give me an answer on why he killed my cousin.

Damn. I'm a grown man and this still bought tears to my eyes. I am a father to 2 daughters, a brother to my sisters and a son to a mother. No female/woman should wver have to endure abuse. I don't care if it is physical, sexual, emotional, etc....as men we are supposed to be protectors. We are supposed to keep things like this from happening, not doing this. May God keep her safe and help her heal from scars that no one can see. Males/Men, step up to the plate and do what we are made to do. Shyt wild, someone should have protected this young lady.

@madehoney5052 I completely feel you! But us men need to really police ourselves and be the protectors that we were made to be. Please excuse me if it sounds "sexist" but no woman should have to shoulder the responsibility of being that protector. My male cohorts have to stand on our square in those instances. Salute to all of the real women willing to stand on the front lines with us, but the real men got this. Hold down the hut while we go to war for you!

Just went through my first domestic situation this year. It was a frightening experience to see the person I loved and spent everyday with change for the worse. When sis said she saw her partner’s eyes change and it was like he was possessed. I relived my moments. My partner’s eyes were usually a light brown color on a daily, but when she would have these moments, her eyes filled with black. Her voice would also change drastically, it was like a totally different person. Similarly when I told her I was leaving her she would also ask me “am I sure?” And that “if you leave, you know that’s your loss not mine. I know what I can bring to the table!” I knew I had to have a plan in place to leave her because I was not who I once knew. Lost weight, didn’t want to communicate with others, I lost sleep, and the only thing that I seemed to care about while I was with her was making her happy and try my best to not f* anything up in her eyes. I wish I thought about not telling her when I was leaving so that I could make an easy getaway, but she had my car that night. So I needed to think quickly. The only thing I could think of in that moment was to get my car back safely. Smh I just pray the next woman that meets her unfortunately, protects herself and her own heart. And remember to pray, 🙏🏼

The sexual abuse story is the same as mine...I was in foster care being sexually abused. My social worker failed me, a white lady, she told me to fight them instead of removing me. This shows you that kids/ teens mindset are not good enough to make good decisions. She kept seeing him after he tried to kill her or even not knowing she was virgin from being sexually abused. This was a lot, I’m happy that she’s on her way to healing. Taking accountability for her role in all of this is important but it’s sad that she had to be a victim. Hoping the next part of her life works out great for her ❤
@sexygabby30 Жыл бұрын
As a child there isn’t accountability when they are still trying to understand how to pee right it the ones around you that fail you as in ADULTS ARE A PROBLEM OF THE PLANET. They. Are the responsible ones who deems accountability and responsibility of any human they bring about. Not the kids. They may always know they’ve done things but can never ever process the consequences of the actions, that eventually arrest your development for the future hood of one’s existence.

@FellyBX thank you for telling your story. You are me and I am you, you told my story while telling yours. As far as the people and places, who and where those things happened was/is exactly how the abuse took place. It started with my step-father and ended with him, but in between the beginning and ending there where so many other people. I only told on my step-father. I struggle with that everyday. You not only just gave me a voice but a lot if other girls and women also. Thank you
