"Smile more". I was going to college in Des Moines, Iowa where over half the population is German-American. My parents came to visit me one weekend and they're originally from the South. Basically, Southerners are friendly and smile a lot. We were walking around a shopping mall and my dad started laughing. I asked him what was so funny and he said "All these sour-looking old people walking around in here". I told him "They're just German - they can't help it". :D

This is different - most bilingual relationships chose a language they use and mix in words of a local language if neither is native in a local language. But here they both speak good English and German and live in Germany so it becomes a really funny mixture. I would know as I had a similar relationship and this reminded me of it so much, funny channel!

Oh that dark water thing. That's my biggest fear as well. I once used an air matress to paddle to a platform far out. But the matress had a leak and sank shortly after reaching it, and I was stuck on that platform. Sat there for hours. Than the evening came and I didn't want to spend the night on the platform. I swear, I jumped a distance of 10m (at least!) to shorten the distance I had to swim. Totally stupid, I know, but that's how much fear I have.

I don't get it and never heard of it. How does space or the universe scare you? Everything we know, including ourselves, are made up of the most basic cosmic ingredients, that come and make up large portions of the universe, like carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, helium and nitrogen. We are mostly made of water, which is H2O - hydrogen and oxygen. All these elements match the universe, from which we can conclude, that not only are we in the universe, but the universe is also in us. (So you must be scared of yourself as well :D ) I never heard of such a fear, so I'm kinda curious to know what exactly scares you about the universe and space? I can assure you though, there is currently no external danger to our planet.
