The list showcases both legends and breaking artists, illustrating a diverse selection of acts from a range of genres who have been championed across our daytime and specialist shows.
boygenius are Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker & Lucy Dacus. The indie supergroup have had a hugely successful year with their debut album ‘The Record’ garnering 5* reviews across the board, it went on to chart at no 1 in the UK album charts. We’re thrilled that the band recorded an exclusive live set for us when they were over in the UK.

I do like a nice tautology. The term “lying liar” is a bit like the expression “ignorant racist” in my book. The first word completely unnecessary. Regardless of the lyric change, it’s a dreamy rendition.

Not even close. I've been following each of them for several years. If it seems like they just popped up out of nowhere, it's only because you haven't been paying attention. Their first EP together was in 2018, and they were all grinding individually before and since. The mainstream success of Phoebe's second album Punisher helped to propel the group.
